Not only does it happen, girls are able to rationalize after the fact that it was justified. Don't even bother trying to convince a girl using logic that she has acted unfairly, it's a waste of time.

My method for dealing with flakes: always have an awesome backup plan... As in, plan the date, but if she flakes, have something else you planned to do anyway, so either way, no big loss.
