Background: I'm a late thirties divorcee. I read The Game before anyone knew what a neg was. I've never taken a course as I would consider myself a natural back in the day. I've pulled lots of girls before I got married. Now that I'm divorced and hooking up again, I'd say not much as changed except things got easier with online dating. Unless you're ugly, then you gotta do cold approach.

Why I'm in this subreddit: It's entertaining, and a few of my new "pua" friends that I go out with sometimes post here.

Why am I posting: I'm usually a lurker and just laugh at some of the ridiculous comments and advice people give, but I saw someone post a comment "If you aren't getting laid, then you're naive and you have no value" or something to that nature. I think the person used some biological imperative bullshit as the reasoning

Hey buddy, get off your fucking high horse. Giving advice to guys on here to help them do better with dating is one thing. But thinking you're somehow better than other guys because you spent hours going to bars/lounges is just a fucking ego trip. If some dude spent his entire life focusing on curing cancer and never opens a woman in life and finally cures cancer, his contribution to the human race for outweighs you banging a bunch of 7's 8 days in a row. If your value is dependent on how many women you've slept with, then it's kind of fucking sad.

Good posts/advice do exist, but a lot of guys post on here post under the guise of trying to help out other guys. However, most are just seeking validation and to make themselves feel important.

On the flipside, if getting laid is your goal, then for fuck sakes stop making excuses.

If you see a field report about a guy banging a stripper, and your first instinct is to say "this can't be real, he just wants to trick people into coaching", then that's you making excuses. Could it be fake? Sure, but instead of attacking the person, just read the post and see if there's anything you can use to supplement your game. Try it out and if it works, great. If not, ignore it and move on. Don't spend hours arguing in a thread. It's a waste of time. "Go out and take action" - as the "experts" say around here lol. Are there guys who talk harshly and act like they know everything? Of course, those are the guys mentioned above. If their advice is good, use it, and forget the rest of the noise.
