I think it’s a terrible idea to leverage your professional role to hook up. Dating from the workplace, especially if you have a position of power over someone is just not the go.

If you don’t care about the consequences go for it. I know ppl Eg gym coaches that did similar. Had a reputation for it too eventually.

Just be friendly. Say you care about math and want people to understand it and to come talk to you if they need more help. If it happens, absolutely do not hit on ppl, just be friendly. Keep them confused on whether you like them or are just being friendly. Let them make moves, effectively.
