What are common misconceptions men have about really hot/attractive women?

Some of the hottest women I’ve ever met were super insecure. I grew up with girls as close friends, and they told me they “date down.” In other words, they’ll take a funny quirky guy over the Calvin Klein model. That’s not the case with every girl like this, but I’ve seen it a lot in real world experiences. I don’t mean to sound like an incel or pathetic, but there’s plenty of times I’ve said, “how did he pull her?”

That they don’t suffer from anxiety, depression, mental illness and struggle socially just as often and guys do. I think it’s common for us to relate good looks, money, relationships, friends and material wealth with happiness but even the most beautiful people can be lonely or anxious or unfulfilled.

I’m in a Facebook group that posts about people’s deaths for all different reasons and usually links the profile or social media accounts of the person that died. (Sort of like an obituary type thing I guess?) There are a lot of people that get posted that are really well known in their town or state, that have huge social groups or are semi famous on social media for different things. It has really changed my perspective on beauty and wealth and popularity. Not that I ever really care about all of those things a ton but everyone compares themselves to others and at times can envy what they don’t have. I’ve seen so many posts about women AND men that on the surface look like they have everything you could ever want or need to be happy, and they committed suicide. It is actually mind blowing when you see a gorgeous girl that had a huge following on Instagram and appears to have money and nice things, traveling and partying and always with friends and realize that she was unhappy with herself enough to take her own life.

I also noticed it’s common for younger good looking men that own their own businesses or come from wealthy families being posted. From their social media, it looks like they’re killing it in life and making a ton of money, nice car and clothes, always hanging with friends or girls, just living the good life and then bam.. suicide. 🤯 so so sad.

We put so much emphasis on things and think it will fulfill us and that if we just get this one thing or make this amount of money or change this about ourself or life, it will somehow be the key to our happiness or contentment. I think those things obviously improve our life but if we aren’t happy within, no amount of money or things or relationships will make us happy. I know that’s kind of a dark reply but it puts it in perspective.

I felt the need to elaborate because I have noticed a lot of people post on this subreddit about how they’re unhappy and if they were better looking it would change things for them or if they were just dealt a different hand, it would make their life perfect.

Most guys think really attractive women get hit on the most. In reality a woman considered 10/10 would be hit on very less because guys would think she is out of her league as op mentioned.

Its actually the 7s and 8s that get hit on the most. The really attractive ones are often times lonely,because they only get guys that are jerks that talk to them and the girls that are her friends end up becoming jealous of her.

Best way to seduce them is to reverse it and put her in the friendzone.

That they're somehow attention deprived despite how often they're inundated by the sheer amout of attention and validation they get from SO many sources and venues. Not just from their social circle and OLD and SM, but all the randos at school, work, etc who approach her, and simps and orbiters that just validate her.

Also that they're somehow easier to talk to and have lower standards lol bc they "just want to be treated like a human* bc they're tired or chads, good-looking guys and rich men, apparently. All of this is pure cope tbh.

The biggest misconception is that men think that the hotter the girl the higher her self esteem and the higher her standards which isn't always true, i've seen tonnes of hot women date bums or unnattractive men.

I just put myself out the zone if she’s hot. It’s not hard for me to talk to women at all but trying to make the first move approach/flirt or express I want to be more then friends is hard for me and I find it impossible if she’s someone who’s really hot. I think why’s the point she’s surrounded by attention from so many people I can’t compete.

If the women is attractive and tall I don’t even bother lmao I never bothered at all if she’s like 5/10 or taller no I feel like there’s no point because I feel like tall girl would at least chose someone their height and I’m 5’8 wearing shoes and socks lol

(Don't know if I am that hot, but still.) If you buy me a drink and I decline, I am seen as rude, proud, and spoilt. Mind you, I understand it takes a lot of courage to approach someone, so I try to decline requests politely, if they are polite in the first place. Even so, I often get responses like: "You are not as pretty as you think." or "Never mind, you seem too proud anyway." Like??? Okay?

Also, go to a bookshop and buy a woman a book she wants. Never happened to me but if it did I would be dft.
