OK, so I'm still relatively new to the ideals proposed by seddit, but I thought New Years would be the perfect chance to try everything out. There's this girl that I've been friends with for awhile now, and I've been attracted to her pretty much the whole time, but being the AFC I am I never acted on it.

So last night I thought I'd try apply some of things I stumbled through on seddit, mainly isolation/kino and becoming the life of the party. We were both at a house party hosted by a mutual friend. Anyway, it worked to some extent, come midnight we were making out, it didn't go any further than that, for the rest of the night we just talked.

The next morning however, she says we need to talk, and basically gives me the whole spiel about how much she values my friendship and how relationships ruin friendships, we're off to the same college next year and she wants to stay friends all through college. I was totally not expecting this, thinking I'd pretty much sealed it last night. So rather than resisting I told her that what she said made sense and I was cool with her decision. I'm not sure if it's worth noting or if she was just trying to make me feel good, but she did say that she was attracted to me too, and that she had genuinely thought about a relationship with me, but decided not to because of our friendship.

Now I'm wondering where I went wrong/what I should do next? I really like this girl and i don't want to completely give up on her just yet.
