The subreddit has a bad reputation for two reasons. One is the somewhat cheesy lingo that has kind of subsided (negging, shit tests, HB8, beta/alpha, etc.) and the other reason is because many see aspects of this subreddit as manipulative of women.

They might be conflating the Red Pillers and Seduction. Or they might be in denial. Imagine spending your whole life honoring an ideal (the good guy, the nice guy) only to find out you've been doing it wrong the whole time. What a waste of time. What a waste of a life. Too often people double down when confronted with something that might explode their reality. It's tough and I don't blame them. But I do feel a tinge of sympathy being stuck in a worldview that frustrates and disappoints.

So when friends/people have issue with women on reddit ask for advice i always tell them read model how to get women with honesty and go on the seduction subreddit, but they tell me to either fuck off or it does not work.

So don't do that.

You can't promote PUA to people who don't want to change. It just makes them cynical about women, and you. seddit and the community will still be here, when they decide their life is so miserable that they have to change. Until then, you can't do a damn thing for them.

Learn to have some detachment from other people's problems. If you try to intervene and stop them from the bad consequences of their bad decisions, you are depriving them of an opportunity to learn from their mistakes.

Let sleeping dogs lie. In particular, it would be better if you did not recommend seddit in other areas on reddit. There are some groups that are actively hostile to seddit (particularly some areas where guys discuss their problems with women) and you could be inadvertently inciting a backlash.

I can only speak for myself, but I personally havent found anything on this sub that has helped me. Everything seems to be "just be confident" and "be yourself, own what you do" and not a whole lot beyond that. Well I do that everyday and has never gotten me any closer to meeting someone. Im not refusing to learn it, quite the opposite Im open to any help I can get. Nothing Ive tried has ever worked and Im all out of ideas.
