What makes you think that someone is confident?

I think someone is confident when they are confident, not when they're acting confident. Not when they appear confident. When they are actually confident.

Confidence is believing in yourself on a very deep level. Confidence is the willingness to be open, authentic, and vulnerable. Confidence is being able to acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses. Confidence is like water. Firm, yet flexible. Solid, yet bending.

Confidence is NOT the angry dick who gets mad over petty things. Confidence is NOT the guy who feels the need to impose his will onto others. Confidence is NOT the guy who gets into fights to prove his dominance or strength or whatever.

You can't fake confidence. You can put on the mask of confidence, and you can definitely use "fake it 'till you make it" to get the ball rolling, but ultimately, confidence is a way of being. It's something you are, not something you do.

So if you want to truly appear confident, then you must be confident. Anything less than actually being confident is simply putting on a mask. It's not real confidence. Good body language and vocal tonality are merely symptoms of confidence. They help get the ball rolling, don't get me wrong. But real confidence is developed through time, experience, hard work, and a lot of healthy self-love.

think of someone who you consider very confident

maybe Dwayne The Rock Johnson for example (a big cartoonish aggressive example)

how does he speak and present himself in general and in his wrestling days --
