The way of the superior man - David Deida

Status Anxiety - Alain de bouton

Feal the fear and do it anyway - susan jeffers

The power of now - eckhart tolle (gonna change your life)

this list is at the top of my head, but in goodreads they make recommendations based on genre so check it out.

There are some great books out there worth reading.

Side note before I list some books, there are some people who preach action over reading. Although there is some logic to it, I personally find this idea is extremely flawed.

Books will never allow you to improve yourself just by reading them; however they give you required knowledge to put into action which in turn will allow you to improve. I like to think of self-help books as enablers, or the first step, so to speak. How can you act to improve yourself if you don't know how to act to bring about the desired change in the first place?

Anyway, here's a list of books I recommend. (How useful these books are depends on what type of self improvement your after, improved self esteem, being more attractive, being more productive etc)

Good that you started reading books. Bad that you started reading so late. If at any point of your life you're not reading a book then you're doing something wrong.

I break my schedul up like this:

read 1-3hrs/day
one non fiction book - whether 'game' or things such as popular science/history/etc.
one fiction book - keep the creative spirit going and have fun with easy reading
one non fiction book related to my job.

I urge you to please, please try self-reflection and actively adjusting/improving yourself rather than to simply read a list of books - many of which are written by snake oil salesmen cashing in on this mansformation movement. If these books were recommended by CEOs and people of high social caliber, then maybe I'd be a little more trusting. But I'm honestly a little skeptical when the average redditor says boooks like "The Power of Now" will change your life (hint: it's message can be summed up in three sentences 1. Meditation can be powerful 2. If you don't like something, change it 3. If you don't want to change it, accept it)
