I'm going to answer your question by proposing a completely different approach.

I think it's very important to know what you want, and go after it, but you should never have to chase a woman. I don't differentiate between being persistent and a chase. I think that many women who want to be chased are attention-seekers, and aren't worth the effort. You should be looking for girls who also know what they want. If a girl keeps rescheduling a date because she's just always "busy", she clearly doesn't have enough desire to see you. In her mind, you should be a "Fuck YES!" rather than a "maybe." so, if the end goal is to have sex, i'd say that you should try to reschedule 2x at most, then be done with it. If the end goal is to find a respectable woman that is worth your time, you ask her out, and if she reschedules, tell her to let YOU know when she's free to go out. If you put the ball in her court, you'll be able to tell if she actually wants to play.

When you have no idea what the fuck you are doing and you keep doing the same thing, while there not being even a glimmer of hope of you getting the girl and you keep sucking her dick, then you are chasing.

Persistence is more of a "I pushed for that close even though it got bad at points", were was chasing women is being more of a chode in how you interact with women. Girls will naturally put up a challenge to see how easily you 'throw in the towel'. They are also programmed to give token resistance so that they don;t feel like a slut or that they are giving it up too easily. So play along... and make sure you challenge the girl back. Read about congruence testing. Also keep a lookout for IOI;s. If she is giving them, then be persistent. If she is not giving them, or giving IDI's then you are probably chasing.

Sounds like the girl just eventually decided she couldn't do better and settled -- not a great way to start a relationship.

As for the difference, there isn't really one. I guess it's just how active you're being during the weight. You should be out pursuing other women though.

I've been on Reddit for about 7 years. 3 to 4 posts per month on average. 99% of my posts are downvoted because I hold some controversial beliefs. While I'm tangentially acclimated with the pua community, I consider myself a natural, but not in the sense that we typically mean. I only have a few friends and I don't typically get along with women, but I have sex about 2 - 5 times per week. I believe in myself 195%. I'm the best looking, the smartest and the most successful man in any room I walk into. I have delusional confidence.

By the time a person reaches their teens they have their note. A musical note. Like a single pluck for a guitar. When you mix that note with other people, sometimes you happen to strike a beautiful chord. My note is rare. And if you aren't on my wavelength I walk away. I'm pretty aggressive, I'll approach mixed sets, initiate a frame and quickly belittle anyone who isn't on board. I get rejected a lot, insulted, and threatened often by white knights. Idk, I've won every fight I've ever fought (ok, a few exceptions here). But the point is that I'm me, proud and true, I have balls, and that is the the trump card. Rejection is evolution. It is progress, and if you're not seeking and embracing that, you're not evolving yourself. I remember going out trying to get laid and failing.

Now I just go out trying to be myself and share my soul, and I think probably every woman in America is looking for a breath of fresh air (read: honesty).
