Because you are more invested in hot women because you put them on a pedestal. This means you´re still insecure and need to work on your confidence.

Because you're making a deal out of the feeling of attraction. Thus hindering it. Let it come, let the cells in your body shift. Allow yourself to be in a sexual state if that's what your instincts want to do. It's the grey area in between no attraction and letting it flow through you where awkward feelings lie. In my opinion it seems that you are focused on the out come of the interaction, what I would suggest is letting go and not being bothered by what happens. With an unattractive woman you simply don't care, why should you for the attractive one

do you think you have better odds being one of the 5 men a not-very-attractive women fucks, or one of the 50 men a more attractive woman fucks? (the thing i'm hinting at requires a somewhat naive interpretation of statistics, but i think having a fuzzy view of the stats is probably good for you in this case)

also, the woman that's all dressed up, covered in make up, and speaking confidently, is probably going to go home with someone that night (it could be you!). the shy woman who just threw something on and got dragged out by her friends quite likely wants to go home and cuddle her dog and not talk to people for a day or two (you aren't getting laid).

This is going to sound really bad and I know the community will probably say something but I would like to look back on the methods of old.

Mystery method, remember that you have to make them prove it to you, your no longer the guy acting all needy.

It sounds bad but if your uncomfortable with them you can do one of two things

1) Tweak your own damn mindset to not give a fuck and get in there (I like this one)

2) Make them feel uncomfortable and go all alpha and shit (not as effective and not as ethical, I don't like this one)

Usually the attractive ones are the ones with the most problems, lol.. But try this:

Next time you go out, try talking to a woman that is more attractive than the last one you've spoken to. No flirting just a simple conversation to break the ice, if it leads somewhere, then great. This is just to get yourself comfortable with good looking women. Every woman you talk to from then on should be better looking than the one you've spoke to before. Challenge yourself, it's a game you have to figure out yourself, everybody plays it differently. Also, workout for at least an hour everyday, this will help build your confidence.
