If you want to keep a frame of escalating some sexual context with her, you would rather not be her emotional towel. It's not nececssarily a sign of disinterest, more like some kind of a shit test? If you politely let her dump her shit on you, you will rather not get classified as attractive masculine male. Because such type would either convert her current emotional state to his bidding and escalate or quickly drop the route of analysing her negative side and expecting some reward for it.

Women only do this with guys who are not 100% clear with their sexual intentions.

When you act ambiguous, like a nice guy, like a friend, then women might typically do this to you.

So what probably happend is that your conversation with her was simply too platonic. She felt your vibe was too freindly, too polite, too safe, too comforting and so she naturally felt safe to dump her emotions on you because she thinks you are the kind of respectful nice guy who would actually sit there and listen.

But this isn's something that this same woman will do with guys who are actually honest and sexual and make the conversation feel man to woman from the get go without any platonic vibe.

So the problem is you, the way you communicate with her, simply was too friendly and too safe. So the frame you establsihed was one where she naturally felt comfortable sharing that type of stuff which usually leads you to the friednzone.
