How can I get IOIs from women? I've stepped up everything in my life: my fitness (muscle gain and weight loss for the past year), fashion, hair, scent, eating habits, posture, eye contact, and friendliness. I still haven't been checked out or flirted with by a women, despite initiating contact with women multiple times a day.

This has caused me to develop BDD and think I just too ugly to attract women, and has killed my self esteem. (I thought doing all this was supposed to build it up :/ )

What could I possibly be doing wrong?

How do you turn a compliment (cool shirt, nice skin) into a productive conversation? I get compliments on my appearance sometimes and I always just end up saying thanks or something that leads to dead end. My first instinct is to come up with something to compliment them on but I can never think of anything on the spot.

What do you do while actually in the club/bar? I feel like I must always be moving or looking like I have something to do. Thus I am always waiting for a drink, going to the washroom, or walking around looking for my friends. For whatever reason, I feel like a girl seeing me stand by myself alone lowers me in her eyes.

The big problem I have is approaching and/or talking to groups of people. Like last night went over to a friends house and there were many people that I didn't know there and it was hard to initiate conversation with them because they were interested in their own. What should I do around groups of people? I'm not even trying to pickup anyone, just become friends with them. Can fatties do pickup?

I've been big my whole life, and hate it, and have been working on losing the weight, and still am. I go to the gym damn near every day of the week, cut out soda completely, blah blah blah.

I've gotten into pickup over the past couple of months, and whereas I haven't actually used it on a girl yet, it has done tons for my confidence, and just felt like it's made me a hell of a lot of a better person than what I was before I started.

My biggest doubt when it comes to girls is my weight. Can those beautiful 10's be into someone that's big? Keep in mind, I actually do take care of myself, appearance-wise. I wear clothes that fit, I don't wear clothes that are baggy either... I just wear what fits. Nothing too tight, nothing too loose. I make sure I always smell good, have a good 15-20 different colognes that I own, and I don't bathe myself in them either.

Should I wait until the weight is gone before beginning going after girls (I have short-term goals I've already met, and a long-term goal I'm on track to make with my weight-loss)? Should I start now, and not give a fuck? Will I have any success?
