This is what a girl told me earlier today. After a bad day yesterday(in my post history) I had a really great one today. The guys on our dorm wing are arranging a group date for tomorrow night and I needed to find a girl to go with. The first girl I had in mind I thought maybe interested- I saw her with another guy so decided not to ask her out for obvious reasons.

However this other girl, who I think is actually one of the hottest girls in the dorm, has been nice to me and I thought she had maybe flirted with me a bit. I was hanging out with my roommate and his girlfriend and talking to them about this stuff, telling them who I wanted to ask but was afraid to because I thought she was way out of my league. His girlfriend said something like "you guys underestimate yourselves" and " you should totally ask her out" . So I got up the guts to do that and she said yes, she wants to go with me tomorrow. It was that easy.

So don't underestimate yourself, that really hot girl might be easier to get than you think. I think maybe they are actually more open to a guy asking them out because a lot of guys may underestimate themselves, and hence do not have the guts to up to the beautiful girl and ask her out. So beautiful women actually may not get asked out as much.
