I notice that 95% of infields are done in tourist destinations where the PUA approaches either girls who are travelling in his own city or he goes abroad to approach locals and he has a certain 'exotic' factor going on since he's not from there (acts as a DHV)

Most importanty, I feel this gives him so much early conversation material that is kind of 'fun' and interesting. People are interested when someone is travelling in their country and they like to talk about this sort of stuff.

But you never see infields say, of a guy who lives in Auustralia in a non touristy city, and he's approaching fellow Australians.

I imagine the conversation just wouldn't tend to 'flow' as well as it does without the 'travelling/tourist' angle that they all seem to rely on.

You'd just be asking about her work and what she's up too that day/night and stuff.

I guess you could try to make it fun by talking about hobbies, but that just feels way more forced that talking about travelling with forreign girls. Like, asking a fellow Aussie that you've stopped in the street or opened at a bar ''so...what do you do for fun?'' could seem a bit odd lol (moreso in the day, I guess)

I also feel that when someone is approached by someone clearly from another country, their guard is down and they immediately assume that it must be normal for that persons culture too approach strangers and so they cut them some slack and there is less initial resistance. I kind of feel like it's cheating sometimes.

The new generation of PUA coaches need to start approaching native girls in their own countries, and ideally wearing a super-realistic 'ugly guy latex mask' so that looks don't come into it!! :) (because it also seems that 98% of infields, the girl is either a 'yes' or a 'no' on the open, and that never ever ever changes, despite his 'game' which suggests that looks is always the overriding factor)
