Before discovering FDS, I've come out of a long relationship with an LVM and wanted to jump into dating, my self-esteem was on the floor but I wanted to seriously date someone. I've asked out a few guys and ended up with lukewarm "maybe" responses at best, hot and cold behavior with intermittent texting, or guys that agreed, then tried to go 0 to 100 on the date to get laid, got denied, and refused to acknowledge that I exist the next day (my pool of guys was college and coworkers, gym buddies).
Basically, I realized that guys that felt like I really wasn't attractive to them were awkwardly silent and ignoring my approaches completely until I got the hint, or agreeing to meet up to get me off their back just to never follow through with it (even when texted them to remind them).
When I went out with female friends pre-covid, we got approached by PUA's and bar guys, I've made sure I gave them my number and we had crazy chemistry and talked to them all night but the problem is that all guys that were charismatic and "nice" to me never responded to my texts the next day (I refused to be sexual and tried to steer the convo towards serious talk to look like a relationship material). A few of those guys that I REALLY liked that texted me the next day ended up hooking up with my female friends shortly that were in my female group or dating them later and giving me a cold "hi" when I saw them around. Why did they bother talking to me all night, getting my number if they actually liked my friends?
No, I wasn't attached and in love with any of them, just really disappointed. Then I said to myself that I don't want anything serious and ended up asking a coworker out, drinking with him and hooking up with him. The next day I realized he cut all contact with me to a minimum, after a question if we're still friends he said "sure" but never initiated anything but late-night texts that nI di't bother to respond. The sucky part is I realized that I LIKE like him.
Then I discovered FDS and not your mother's rules and started online dating. Unfortunately, I don't know how to respond to being denied in a healthy way because my recent disappointments started to affect my self-esteem at this point.
I had guys asking me out enthusiastically on OLD, then showing up and barely looking at me, spending time on their phones, to making lame excuses of why they need to go after spending like 10 mins with me.
All my photos are recent, I never allowed any sexual talk and was all about projecting the serious intention yet in no-pressure environment, but also trying to be fun and girly. I specifically said that I'm not looking for a hookup. It wasn't an interview and I wasn't really boring at all, always trying to match their energy and make them initiate. I also had pre-screen 10 min Facetime calls with all of them.
Some guys made comments that I know now I shouldn't have allowed like me "knowing my good angles" or my teeth were not as white as he thought, or one guys said my laugh was "funky" or they gt annoyed that I asked them to pay for dinner or show more effort at knowing me and never texted again.
One guys just straight up showed up and I saw that his face dropped, he looked around, I said "hi I'm X" and he awkwardly mumbled "no, thanks" and walked away...that's after 2 weeks of texting and 20 min facetime. That's after 1h of me putting my makeup on and curling my hair. I went to the bathroom and cried for like 5 minutes.
Other guys that thought were fun date with had turned lukewarm and I KNEW in my gut that it means they're not into me. It's really hard not to give up, but get REALLY anxious when I see the common signs or rejection now: long times no response, no follow up, too sexual too soon, awkward look sideways, lazy superficial convo, face buried in menu/phone/talking to someone else in front of me, lukewarm, etc.
Also have lukewarm guys coming back (they're not asking for dates) and it's hard not to slip into my old ways. Is it time to use block button? Some of them I still like and I'm scared to loose my value again.
What do I do in these situations that are just blatantly disrespectful or what do I do in those that are more subtle ghosting? How to get over the rejection anxiety? Should I try something else other than OLD?

This is just a small correction. But we don't refer to women as females. So in terms of acronyms, we refer to high value women as HVW—not high value "females".
The rest of your statements are on-point!
