I've been in the thick of divorce proceedings for well over 1.5 years. For the most part I've been decent at grey rocking her with communication. If a response was warranted it was "yes or no".

Recently, she's pulled some antics that caused problems for me interfering in my household. I don't want to get into specifics, but it wasn't her place and has made my life difficult for the kids and I.

When such an event occurs I faulter and give her an earful over text message letting her know that's not okay. I'm trying to set boundaries and not sit there and take it. This almost immediately turns into deflection from her followed by gas lighting.

This feels like a lost cause, but I want to hold her accountable and try to establish boundaries. I'm learning this does not work in my case and just stressed me out.

Should I bother with trying to set boundaries with her or just let it go and deal with it myself (clean up the mess she creates)?

I realize I said it's a lost cause, but a line needs to be drawn. Not sure how to handle this other than wasting money and get lawyers involved to push more restrictions on child stipulation order.
