Hello beautiful ladies, I am so happy that I found this sub. I thought I was a little crazy for my standards but guess not!

I’ve recently tried online dating, Tinder very specifically and gosh... what a rollercoaster.

Thankfully I haven’t met anyone because I’m busy wrapping up my university degree and help out my family’s business. But here’s my experience with a few “gentlemen”

Guy #1) VERY good looking, blue eyes, very fit, has a condo, cottage, stable job but he’s a single dad. I’ve decided to proceed with our chat just to see where things go. Long story short, he wanted to FaceTime (which I don’t enjoy 🙄) and it was pretty much to see if I was fatter in real life because he’s into fitness. I’m not sure if I’m overly sensitive but as someone who was overweight before and now in decent shape, I took some offence to it.

Guy #2) A little older (I know, I know shame on me) but has his own company, apparently. No tracks of him on social media or LinkedIn. I get it because I don’t have Instagram or LinkedIn. We chatted and have similar views, which are pretty much liberal. We were supposed to meet today but I’ve had so many things come up that I asked if we can do a rain check. He called me flaky but whatever. I didn’t have a good gut feeling especially since he didn’t ask for my number.

Guy #3) He has a nice smile and is an athlete. We connected because both of our families have small businesses and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. It said that he was far-ish away from me, about 60 miles but right off the bat he said that for him distance isn’t an issue and he would like to meet me regardless because I would be worth the effort. He asked for my number and so far I was intrigued. I genuinely had a good feeling about him until I mentioned that I did long jump and triple jump in high school because of my height (I’m 5’10) and he wanted to know my height. I just found out that he’s 5’9...

I’m not sure if this makes me shallow but I only like to date guys who are 6’ and above. I love wearing heels. Even when I do errands or go for brunch I like wearing wedges because I LOVE being by tall. I was insecure about it before but now I walk with grace.

The rest of the guys on tinder I’ve unmatched or blocked REAL QUICK.

I may try bumble because it allows you to adjust the height and it’s more relationship oriented-maybe?

UPDATE: With guy #3 he seems to be wonderful and polite ugh. I did tell him that I am going through exams right now and he said that he would love to take me out for dinner. Still on the fence but I may give him a chance because I’ve read on this sub that some guys that are shorter than you are still HVM. Literally the only down side to him is that he’s an inch shorter, everything else looks ok.
