Private, untraceable crypto-currencies, cash and gold.
[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
How would you recommend a minor getting cryptocurrency?
[–]SilverslawPOG18 points19 points20 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Get into silver much better for you anyways since cryptos are volatile. Buy American silver eagles when the spot price is relaitivley low and search bank roll 50c pieces and look for a shiny silver eadge.
[–]NietzscheExplosion10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Silver can move 5% (bullion price alone) in a day. It is also volitile.
The Bitcoin chart (BTC/USD)right now is nearly the same as silver(vs US$) in 1980.
I agree silver should be the "people's currency" but it and gold needs to be married to a cryptocurrency to be used as modern money.
[–]SilverslawPOG9 points10 points11 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I agree with you completley! Cryptocurrencys are the electronic version of gold and silver and if somebody someday had enough money gold platinium and other metals to set the standard for one cryptocurrency like how silk road did with bitcoin we would have a large revolution with money. The next step after that would be somebody making a cryptocurrency visa/mastercard/whatever and a world wide revolution could occur
[–]Lord_o_teh_Memes5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Loaning with crypto is not going to happen while it's volatile. It's still too young for that to happen.
[–]freecel1212 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Not entirely. Margin lending exists on a couple exchanges, where users deposit into their loan accounts and offer loans at various daily interest rates. Margin traders set a max interest rate and the exchange matches them with the lowest available interest rate loan. So far as I heard, no defaults have happened.
[–]keltsbeard4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
IIRC, the ones before 1964 are the ones you want to grab.
[–]SilverslawPOG3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
And Silver!
[–]datthrowawayaccson2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
What private/untraceable crypto-currencies are you invested in? And are there any new ones to be on the look out for?
[–]cyborg_type_darkness5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Look at the top list of cryptocurrencies and divide your investment among 5-10 cryptocurrencies. If one of them succeeds you have profit and gained your loses back. I currently invested in IOTA coins. If a courntry invests in one cryptocurrency and you had coins on that cryptocurrency you will become rich. It might also go wrong and be worth nothing.

I'm sorry but mgtow is such bs
[–]mrscene15 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Could you elaborate, Mr.Starlily, maybe with some obective, coherent counter-arguments to MGTOW?
[–]TFCNU93 points94 points95 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
It's more than this. There are, in most jurisdictions, tax incentives in place for married couples that are unavailable to single men.
[–][deleted] 32 points33 points34 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Are they available to single women?
[–]TFCNU49 points50 points51 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
No, but single mothers get a whole bunch of stuff. Divorced women too through treatment of alimony and child support.

Absolutely true.
My own mother and (three) sisters all divorced raped their husbands and lived off the government for years (three of them still do).
My mother didn't work for more than 10 years -- til my dad's money and her cuck father's money finally ran out.
Only half the women in my family pay taxes -- the other two literally commit fraud and lie as well as simply don't report earnings.
It's a fucking bad joke. I'm carrying these cunts with my taxes. Fucking bullshit.
I'm telling you, nothing red pills you faster than growing up with four women.
For a while I thought it was just them. My first serious relationship rectified that notion.
[–][deleted] 15 points16 points17 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Aint that the truth. My 3 sisters and mother are all feminist and they red pilled me so hard.
[–]8017352 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Congratudolences to all you quarteringees.
[–]AmericasIronFist2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
At least your mother didn't try to stab you when you were 12. That's when I became "red pilled", to know that your own mother will willingly stab you is fucked.
[–]Sniggle1918 points9 points10 points 8 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
You just haven't found the right woman yet. (Begins laughing insidiously) No but seriously that is a crazy situation. My mother was the oldest of four sisters and they are definitely not as bad as the females in your family, however watching how immature and selfish they would be made me very disdainful of them and red pilled me extremely young as well. The more shit these women get away with with a snide grin on their face the more glaringly obvious it is for young guys to go Mgtow.
[–]grewapair7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
My mom did the exact same thing.
My sister, on the other hand, is an anomaly. Model beautiful, 11/10 according to my friends, she could have taken advantage if any rich man she wanted. Nope. Built her own business and works like crazy. She gained 200 lbs and no no one would touch her, but she could have had an easy life like my mom, but rejected it.

It's very enlightening.
[–]Lord_o_teh_Memes11 points12 points13 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
For true equality how about we make it so only net 'tax positive' persons have the right to vote? I think it's the only kind of system that makes any sense.
[–]neutron_[S] 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Then the Democratic Party will collapse.
[–]Lord_o_teh_Memes9 points10 points11 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
And that isn't a problem. Only productive people should get a say in what happens. We shouldn't keep pandering to unproductive persons as it has the reverse effect on merit.

Is there any data for the US?
[–]thwml8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
The only data I've seen for the US is broken down by race....and it showed that only white people are net taxpayers over their lifetimes. I would expect a similar trend by gender. Always struck me as hypocritical that feminists and leftists go on and on about how evil the straight huwite man is, but they have no qualms about leeching off of them.
[–]Hillary_For_Prison9 points10 points11 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
They must have lumped asians in with whites then.
[–]Belrick_NZ3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Men in usa pay 67% of fed income tax.
That much is public knowledge.
[–][deleted] 20 points21 points22 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
I say this all the time on here.
Do you get tax credits and big refund checks?
If the answer is no, then your paying a bacholor tax. They did a clever job hiding it
[–]AndzrelBaenre22 points23 points24 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Same here. Single white male with no kids who makes too much to be considered poor. I swear TurboTax actually laughs at me when I click the "check for credits" button.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I don't have credits, but I get a large return via claiming 0. I know I could have more if I claimed 1, but then I would spend it on shit I don't need.
[–][deleted] 13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Don't let the govt bamboozle you. Large tax return = large interest free loan to the govt due to voluntary overpayment of taxes. Better to keep as much of your eventual tax money as long as possible so you can deploy it to your benefit as long as possible.
[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Claiming 0 is the reason I'm out of debt now. I used the last 3 years worth of tax returns to make bulk payments on my debt, and it was totally worth it.
If I didn't do that, the extra $1500/yr would have been spent on weed, candy, and vidya...well, more of that stuff anyway.

I don't like to admit this but it is actually a reasonable and tangible thing to do. My father is a psuedo alpha wage slave 100k+ a year to my emotionally empty neurotic professional victim mother. I figure the most ethical way for me to live my life is in leisure while being concious of my situation and impact upon other people, all minimalistically with my father's money (he is baby boomer I am millennial). This course of action is obviously absolutely nothing to be proud of however I don't really see a better option when the society outside is not worth participating in and I really don't have the incentive or drive to do anything else after being raised by a woman whom has done absolutely nothing but physically bear me and cause me anguish ever since. The state of how ambivalent and flippantly hostile I am against our society for allowing this to happen to me and for it to be completely normalized and socially acceptable has made me immensely disagreeable even to my own detriment. Really you just need to remind yourself of the mouse Utopia experiment and realize that it is perfectly fine and normal to just stop caring (at least if you are in a situation like myself) and I am sure alot of the younger and more confused and resentful mgtow are.
[–]bacare8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
it's really the only way to "win"
[–]fmanly5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It isn't actually that hard, though honestly I don't think you'd want to live that kind of life. It isn't that hard to be fairly close to neutral though.
It all boils down to minimalism. If you can keep your expenses very low, then you can save a lot of money. You can put as much of that into tax-sheltered accounts as you can (though in practice getting more than 25% of your income tax-advantaged is tough). As you save more of your money moves from ordinary income to investment income, and that is where the real opportunities lie.
Once you get to a point where you can live off of 3-4% of what you have saved then you no longer need to work. That isn't saying that you can't work - but you don't have to care about what you're getting paid, and you don't need any work you perform to be steady.
If you have years where you earn no ordinary income you can do some magic. First, you're avoiding most of the non-Federal taxes entirely as these tend to mostly apply to ordinary income. Next whatever money you do earn through investments/etc is taxed at a very low rate due to your low income (on paper). You can roll money from tax-deferred accounts into Roth accounts and pay taxes on this money at this very low rate, and then it will never be taxed again (including future investment growth). You can also harvest capital gains during these years at a very low tax rate.
Yes, I realize that you're still not a net drain, but you're pretty close to zero taxes which is about as good as you're going to get if you don't want to live in a slum. You can be fairly comfortable doing what I suggested above.
Right now during years when you aren't working you could probably also manage to get subsidies on Obamacare, though long-term it is hard to say what will happen here.
If you really just want to be a net drain more than anything else then get caught doing selling drugs near a school or something like that - though don't do anything that will get you shot. The rest of us guys on here will be paying a small fortune to keep you behind bars. The more pleasant options for being a drain tend to involve having custody of a screaming kid. I'm not sure if that is really all that much better than prison, but it is hard to arrange this as a guy the way family courts work.
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Be better than that. Be net neutral. Except that is impossible in every country I know thanks to outageous govt overreach in taxation.

Wowee, how can the average joe avoid paying, or how can we reduce our tax if we aren't ultra rich with access to the tools they get to use?
[–]cscracker5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Start your own business. Businesses can have all sorts of tax deductions that individuals can't, and since you have to loan your personal money to the business to fund it in the beginning, the business then owes you that money back, so it's not subject to income tax when the business pays you back later on.
[–]ReunionIsland1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If you try to say that, the feminists will just say that's proof that women are underpaid and that we should bump up their wages so that they're paying more tax.

Workforce participation rate is a very bad metric for most things since it's basically just $job == 1. I work 50-60 hours a week as a Sr Sysadmin, while my last girlfriend technically had the same workplace participation by playing music at bars occasionally. I have nothing against her chosen career (such as it is), but the idea that the workforce participation value is even remote similar is ludicrous.

Add to that the amount of money and gifts they take from boyfriends, husbands, and ex-husbands over their lifetimes. If all women died of a reverse Y The Last Man disease tomorrow, would life suddenly get so easy we would only have to work a couple hours a day?
