wow, sorry to hear about his rough ride. seems like i had just about finished going through a good chunk of his videos around the time his marriage must've been breaking down.

he generally speaks quite well. he is a bit full of himself, which is understandable, being essentially a god of today's world. goes to show that anyone can fall hard, though. i fault his parents a lot in this - building him up that he's invincible from when he was a child. then he finds himself in the grasp of one of these monsters, turning his whole world upside down. i think it's telling how important he feels it is to have (and maintain) a good relationship with one's family. i think that's really where a lot of the trouble starts. you have to keep in mind that not everything they did was necessarily in your best interests, and that can be hard to face.

EDIT: got to hand it to the guy for being so forthcoming. (Think he is genuinely interested in helping people.) Like in one of those vids how he described initially being proud of his wife going off on some poor hotel clerk, before coming to the (unstated) presumed realization of her basically being a monster. and how he advises not to invst too much in how they look, or what they might become. And that old favorite: when someone shows their real self, believe them (the first time).
