This article is the kind of research and debunking A Voice for Men is, or at least should be, famous for. Note also in the article the concerted efforts of the fem-establishment to suppress data in order to reframe the issue. Classic Smoking Gun material for any who would deny the role of feminism in denigrating and marginalizing males, or for those who believe that they are misguided rather than malicious.

Much of AVfM is precisely this kind of expose. Why Redditors don't tap it more often is beyond me.

Ask Barbara Kay about this during the men's conference. She's written more biased articles about Honor Killings than there have ever been honor killings in Canada.

Very interesting. It happens in the West in much the same way as Warren Farrell pointed out in The Myth of Male Power since typically when a woman kills a man she employs another man to do it for her or with her and as a result the murder or attempted murder is classified as "multiple attackers" not as a woman attacking a man. Now feminists come along and say hey lets compare sole female attackers vs sole male attackers, because they know this will misrepresent the data.

Once you've started lying like that it becomes easier because you can pass laws that selectively target men, or are selectively enforced against men, on the basis of bogus statistics and so get even better statistics from that selective enforcement.

And as in Iran the feminists control the parts of state which calculate the statistics just as we have seen the CDC and FBI try to define male rape victims out of existence.

I can't say I'm surprised. I hope this becomes a bigger issue with more people who are familiar with the culture and language speaking up.

I'm not surprised that men are killed more as they're probably expected to do more. I'm not sure that's directly relevant to the reason we're upset about honor killings though. I think the main shock factor from honor killings isn't the death itself or even the crime, but the fact that your own family members killed you for such a stupid thing when they're supposed to be on your side. The article said that honor killings for men aren't done by their families while women generally are. That is the equivalent of society lynching guys for being too much of a pervert and in such a culture I totally expected that.

While it's true that the husband killings and honor killings of men is under reported and should get some attention in their own right, I don't consider them the same thing as the honor killings that's been in the media.
