With anticipation growing about the new season of Game Of Thrones, I wanted to post about the controversy surrounding last season's infamous rape scene.

At the time, here in the UK, almost every newspaper included a story about the outraged feminists' response - giving them a platform to criticise the writers and directors. The outcry was also all over the internet. The backlash to this scene was absolutely enormous.

Now, these feminists - who insist that they are pursuing equal rights not only for women - but also men - were suspiciously silent about a number of other scenes.

Did they condemn the storyline where a leading male character was tortured before being sexually mutilated - with his penis being cut off and fed to him? No, they did not.

Did they express their outrage at an army - of literally thousands of young men - consisting of males who had each being sexually mutilated by having their testes cut off? No - they did not.

This inconsistency may seem relatively minor - but it gives us an understanding of the lack of logic, and the inconsistencies of the feminist movement. And it exposes as a lie their claim that they are equally passionate in fighting for men's rights.
