unfortunately Manhood 101 is not the creation of some clever feminist. I used to interact with the creators on a MGTOW forum about a year ago. Yes the mens rights movement does have its extremist wing as well, however unlike the feminist extremist, the masculinist extremist is not a best selling author heralded as some sort of hero. In most places they are only tolerated because MRA respect freedom of speech, not because we embrace their beliefs. Not being supported the way they desire in other communities, they consolidate into a stronghold chauvinistic jackassery.

/r/mensrights rightly prides itself as a no-holds-barred arena for the free expression of sometimes unpopular ideas. I like it this way, and I fully appreciate that our liberal moderation policy is what has allowed me to continue to share my own contrary views for as long as I have. I feel weirdly at home here.

Nonetheless I believe a line must be drawn between users who express unpopular or even offensive views, and users who abuse our forum for their own ends, and engage in deceptive trolling and spamming. Using multiple accounts, flooding the site with duplicative submissions, linking with misleading shortened URLs, and outright trolling to drive traffic to one's site is not free speech, and it should be stopped. It's why we have mods.

Whether or not these are the accounts an of an extremist MRA or an anti-MRA infiltrator, they are degrading both the quality and the credibility of /r/mensrights.

Upvote if you support the ban-hammer for these sockpuppets.

And if you have any doubts, just check their user histories.

I honestly don't care where that vitriole comes from. The viewpoint is so warped it doesn't even allow any meaningful conversations. I am all for free speech, but that doesn't mean all speech should be tolerated everywhere.

Apparently, they're still spamming the same comments and links everywhere, including in this thread. Despite their comments including "intellectual integrity", they also seem to be displaying none at all in any of their comments.

A ban would be nice.

Edit: For the record, I've reported every single instance of these ridiculous posts. I would encourage everyone else to do the same.

So, she's gone through the trouble of making a site designed to discredit the MR's movement, and now she's posting in this reddit to make us look bad.

Obviously smithea/KellyHarp7/etc is a multi-account-using spammer, and probably a troll, but this is a ridiculous theory. The site is real.

A cursory look over that huge pdf that was linked too didn't compel me to devote any further study. The one thing I got out of it was the idea that people might hold the view regarding being needy and not being in touch with your feelings or something. That was kind of interesting to be aware of.
