In the tradition of intellectual cowards everywhere, tomek77 has preemptively banned me from his little club. What do you do when you can't respond to someone's arguments? If you're weak, you silence them.

I predict your reddit will go the same way as jayhammers', with no one on it and all its content derived from this reddit.

Intellectual people enjoy discussion and argument because those activities are more mentally satisfying than preaching to the choir.

I have created a new community r/MaleStudies that will be more moderated, by yours truly ;-)

Cross-posting between the two is strongly encouraged: I would love this to be a collaborative effort with r/mensrights rather than a competitive one.

The description of /r/MaleStudies is :

Links to studies and articles about men's issues: alimony, divorce, custody, circumcision, lack of due process in domestic violence, false rape accusations, misandry in the media, reproductive rights, college enrollment gap...

Moderation policy:

no anti-women rants
no links to blog posts that don't have good citations
no shaming tactics, ad-hominem attacks, straw-men arguments and other similar tactics
no pick-up artist stuff
