3 years ago after my divorce, my ex and I had a joint custody agreement. She took the kids and moved across country anyway. When I went to court, the judge said that her violating our agreement was fine and granted her primary custody. I got the 1500a month child support bill. Fast forward to June of this year she tells me she's moving again, further away. She gave me 50 days notice, despite our new legally signed agreement that she had to give 90 days notice. I filled an injunction to keep my kids from moving again to live in California for 2 years just to move again after that. The judge denied my injunction and said she's only violating it by a little bit. My kids are devastated. I'm running out of time, ran out of money and have completely lost faith. What's the point of all this if she doesn't have to abide by the court's decisions?

Update: the judge apparently realized her mistake of vocalizing her being ok with my ex violating a court order and called my lawyer. We possibly have an emergency hearing this Friday at 1300. My son said he wants to go and talk to the judge to tell her that he's not leaving. I don't want to get my hopes up, and I'm a ball of nerves right now.

Update #2: the emergency hearing was seen by a magistrate. He threw it out without hearing the case. My kids are devastated.

Final update on this thread: she came to get the kids today. They refused to leave and after 20 minutes of her arguing with them and threatening me with being arrested for kidnapping, she called the police. Police showed up and said they cannot force the kids to leave the house if they refuse to go. She ended up leaving and getting on the plane without the kids. I know there's a lot of fight left to go, but I'm so proud of my kids for standing up for what they want.
