Okay, so let's use the highest number "241" to figure out the chance of a woman being murdered in the uk.

There are 34 million women in the UK.

So the percentage of a women being murdered in the uk every year is 0.0007088235294117648%

And the chance of a woman being murdered in the UK is 1 in 141,078.84 (34,000,000 divided by 241).

The chance of a man being murdered in the UK is 1 in 39,855.07, quite a difference.

However, this isn't the event women (and men) are worried is going to happen to the female population. What most people worry about is a home break-in type scene or murder in the street by a male stranger.

The statistical odds of this happening are even less likely.

What is 13% of 241? 31.33 So 32 women are killed by strangers every year in the UK.

So the chance of a woman being killed in the UK by a stranger is 1 in 1,062,500 every year.

Expressed as a percentage, the percentage of women killed by male strangers in the UK 0.00009411764705882353% every year.

I don't have the statistics of rape... & murder... But you can imagine how low the chances are considering what I've just said.

What am I saying here? That the chances of women being killed are so low that they shouldn't even worry about it? Yes. That's exactly what I'm saying. Take for example the chance of being killed in a car accident in the UK. This chance is 1 in 80,000. That is a chance 13 times greater than being killed by a stranger. Yet, there is no panic. And no calls not to teach women how to be safe but to teach men how to drive.

(I took the statistical probability of 1 in 20,000 for both men and women, and estimated that women made up 25% of road fatalites due to not being able to find detailed statitistics on the subject.)

The reason I write this is because, there has been a carousel of death in the media, showing young women, old women, all women being killed by men, and it is creating fear. My female family members have commented that they now fear being raped and murdered by men if they don't pay them adequate respect.

The reality is, these men make up a tiny percentage of men overall. They are pyschopaths and dangerous deviants. The call to teach men how to be better men is mostly an unrealistic view of things. It applys to "all men" as if all men are the problem. No, deviant men are the problem. Usually, men with various genetically based psychological disorders (psychopathy - looking at the Ice man " Richard Leonard Kuklinski" who was an infamous mob contract killer), histories of child sexual, and/or physical, and/or emotional abuse, and brain damage from physical abuse or an accident. The tarnishing of all masculinity (males) as toxic is damaging to society and will lead to greater disengagement by men, and the economic stagnation of the country.
