I just want to talk about how the pseudo-intellectuals being mostly men. With dumb women, they're typically smart enough to avoid discussions that make them look dumb. They typically ban political discussions all together. Even the activist ones have warning like "EVIL BIGOTS DNI" to signal they're dumb and that's not up for discussion.

Meanwhile, dumb guys typically pretend they're open to discussions, they're intellectuals, and they respect differences of opinions, especially those who pretend they love diversity and POCs.

For example, how I lost couple of my friends in a nutshell:
The guys: We're better than those stupid maga assholes because we believe in logic and discussions. AND we care about people of color.

Me, the only POC in their group: Awesome! Well, I believe in police reform, but defunding the police is dangerous, and ACAB is a stupid slogan. No one's saying All Farmers Are Bastards when a salmonella outbreak happens, and we're not saying All Teachers Are Bastards when child abuse occurs. I like to have good police around because I live in areas of higher crime where black women are disproportionately victimized than white women.

The girls: Well, there's a misconception. They don't actually mean what they say-

The guys: WHERE THE FUCK IS YOUR BRAIN?! USE IT! HOW COULD YOU BE SO STUPID?! YOU GUYS ARE ASSHOLES FOR LETTING HER SPEAK!

Me: Why are you insulting me? Aren't we suppose to be friends? You're insulting me even though we agree with 90% of the same thing-

The guys: THAT 10% MATTERS! KEEP YOUR DUMB OPINIONS TO YOURSELF.

When I suggested just to ban politics, because they can't be mature, I was ignored.

Then when the friendships officially severed, is when I said "Comparing Orcs to black people is super racist".

I thought this was a an easy going topic that everyone could agree on. Boy, I was wrong.

One of the guys: If you don't kick her out for her stupid opinions, I'm leaving!

I officially left after everyone but one person in the group condemned me for "making him upset", even though he argued with me first.

Point is: Dumb men like feeling smart until someone makes them prove it.
