Fiction Reading Recommendations?

Anything written before 1914 aka before World War I. I've always had red pill ideas and thoughts and I think thats because the majority of books I read were from the 1800s when women acted in a different way.

To Sail Beyond the Sunset by Robert Heinlein. Has some off kilter moments but a great story told from a womans point of view.

This may sound dumb, but I really love all of the Amish romance novels that are out there. I doubt they were written by actual Amish women, but they are very sweet and innocent.

My favorite, admittedly trashy romance novelist, is Kristen Ashley, with her ridiculously alpha heroes and sassy heroines. Her older stuff is definitely my guilty pleasure read.

If you're looking for a good cautionary tale, I'd recommend Revolutionary Road or The Amateur Marriage. These are tales of women you don't want to be.

Outlander novels by Diana Gabaldon. In most books the hero goes on exciting adventures, comes home, gets married and waits to die. In Gabaldon's books, a happy marriage is just the beginning of the grand adventures.

Plus, sexy traditional Scottish warriors.

Not quite reading, but have you watched Gossip Girl? I believe Chuck and Blair's relationship could be interpreted as a modern take on traditional roles. I wonder what you guys think
