How to cop when I feel like I’m not bringing much (or very little) income to the table? I’ve always been a hard worker and had 2 jobs from the time I was 16. I wanted to work less and my husband makes a good salary so 2020 was the first year I had just one job. I’m commission based so if I don’t work, I don’t make money and with covid I just slacked off hard. We did our taxes last week and our gross income dropped by $37k thanks to me. I feel like I failed my husband and that I should be doing more. He doesn’t care and said if I only ever make what I did in 2020 or even less it wouldn’t matter. I am also currently pregnant and will have a maternity leave the last few months of the year so I obviously won’t be making a ton this year and I’ve been on and off crying about it. I want to not care! I trust my husband and I know my income is all for savings and fun money but I can’t help but feel like a loser who isn’t doing enough.
