It's unfair for men in that it takes a long time for most to raise themselves to the value needed to have a lot of success. Women are generally born with their SMV.

It's unfair for women in that they peak incredibly early, slowly decline til a precipitous fall into the abyss aka 'the wall'.

Each gender has its own power source. Sex for women. Commitment for men.

A person can tilt the game in their favor by refusing to surrender their power source and/or only giving it up under a set of very strict conditions that they find favorable.

So as a man, the key to winning the dating game is to never give commitment. If you do this, you can have multiple women and always be acting from a position of power and abundance.

It is amazing how much beta neediness is triggered by accepting monogamy. Women push for it because it gives them tremendous leverage -- most men NEED sex, and she has just negotiated a monopoly contract over your sexual activities.

True, you will have date a bit more and filter through more women to find those who will stick with you in an open relationship, but many women will go along with this for the right man. Many even enjoy the freedom of non-monogamy themselves.

So think twice before you agree to commitment of any kind, no matter how hot she is. You can have her, but still keep your power. You can have her, and have other women too, you just need the balls to hold on to your power in the face of female pressure.

yeah the game sucks ass for most young guys, but things turn around as you age. i'm 27 now and i'm beginning to worry about some of my female friends because i don't think that they are prepared to deal with the loss of their sexual power. i went to an engineering college that was about 70% male, so most of the girls had their pick of guys for 5 years straight when they were at their hottest. they are beginning to get jealous of younger women and pissy that they actually have to try to get and keep guys now.

besides, nature is unfair. I was watching some episodes of Life, a nature show made by the same creators of Planet Earth, and it covers a lot of mating rituals of different types of animals. the bleak fact is that for most mammals, only a minority of males from each generation get the chance to mate even once. natural selection doesn't give a shit about your feelings. you aren't entitled to anything.

Here's the short answer to your question: Not only is dating not fair, life isn't fair. Why? Because we're not all born equal. For every Brad Pitt, there are hundreds of malformed, under-nourished Omega men running around. So how could it POSSIBLY be fair? Of course, said Omega men all think they're entitled to Angelina Jolie the same way the Omega women think they're all entitled to Brad Pitt.

Yes, but its unfair for everyone in different ways.

For example, a rich NBA or NFL star player can get women much more easily than the average guy. And a 22 year old female college student with a hot face and body can get the men of her choice much more easily than an unattractive 45 year old obese woman.

Dating is unfair for a 20 year old "loser" guy who can't get laid while the girl his age who is roughly his equivalent in looks has lots of guys to choose from.

But, on the other hand, its also unfair to women that some middle aged men can get the women of their dreams (let's say a 22 year old hot looking girl) while few middle aged women can get the men they really want anymore.

It's only as fair or unfair as you make it.

Do nothing and expect to be desired as you are? It's going to be "unfair" and not in your favor.

Or bust your ass to become the best possible you that you can be, and you get a much better chance of making sure the terms are either at least fair or drastically in your favor.

Do what you wish, but I'll bet you will get far better results by not negotiating from a position of weakness.
