On 17th November, 2015 an UK court convicts a person to 8 years in jail for pretending to be a male while having consensual sex with a girl. It's consensual for the first 10 times. Then she finds out her partner isn't male but using a strap-on dildo and now it's rape.

"You pursued this course of conduct over a lengthy period during which you played with her affections, acting entirely for your own sexual satisfaction and choosing to ignore the devastating impact that the eventual discovery of the truth would have on her" - Judge Roger Dutton

Remember Barney Stinson's Playbook? How he uses devious means to lure women into bed? The way things are headed those tricks may soon be considered rape one day.

The article does state this:

Many sexual encounters, of course, involve deception at some level. It is probably a minority of men who can honestly swear that they have never bigged up some aspect of their lives – their earnings, perhaps, or their professional status – in order to impress a girl. To do so, thankfully, doesn't yet make you a rapist, although at least one academic lawyer has argued, with cold logic, that any deception in pursuit of sex – falsely telling someone that you love them, for example – should invalidate the resultant consent. Turning the entire population into sex offenders seems to him a worthwhile price to pay for making the law consistent and logical. Until that happens, a man (or of course a woman) can safely lie about quite a lot, but not everything.

So, fortunately, not every deception is a crime. For Now.

Just read through the wikipedia article on the topic -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape_by_deception

Go through the section concerning Israel. Yeah. Scary. Apparently Israel takes Rape by deception quite seriously.

Lesson Learned: Be very wary of legal implications of lying to get some one in bed. It may be legal now. But may not be tomorrow.
