I posted a bit about this last week and appreciate the advice. Brief recap... I (38) make about $100k/yr and my wife (39) who used to make more now makes about $35k/yr essentially due to her choice (which I supported as a dutiful beta) to be a “full time yoga teacher”. We have no kids nor do we intend to.

In the past I’ve agreed to things I didn’t/don’t like and that’s definitely contributed to our current financial imbalance where I make a lot more and pay for more than her. I also have a lot more disposable income than her.

I did some review and over the last couple months of MRP definitely seeing myself much clearer, growing as an alpha and I’m starting to see the marked changes in her as a partner as well. Overall I’m encouraged but I know I gotta get shit straight with our finances etc including establishing savings for the two of us. Going forward I need to clearly set some financial boundaries on income, expenses for our family. Since we don’t have kids it’s different than some arrangements I know. I’d like to know what others have done in similar situations? What’s fair and what should I expect her to contribute? How do I set the boundaries without Ramboing and fucking up the progress so far?
