Over a decade ago I spent a year of my life knee deep in strange from all the PUA skills I learned. I got mass value out of the techniques, mindsets, attitude change, and all the massive wins that the PUA community provided. Banging HB8s, Check!, fulfilling work life, Check!, great attitude on life, Check! But I was still an AFC which only became apparent when I moved into an LTR… and the “Child with Dynamite” was revealed.

Ten years later, enter RP and MRP. The concepts I have learned and lifestyle changes I have initiated are fucking awesome even in this short amount of time… and yet I have a nagging feeling this mirrors my PUA past. Am I going to “figure out” this RP “material” like I did PUA skills over a decade ago and faceplant right into some Beta Blind Spot I didn’t see coming?

I see myself over a decade ago going through all the PUA material, upping my game, doing NLP, scoring wins I never thought possible, getting my shit together, and telling my AFC friends that PU skills would change their lives for the better. This was 100% true at the time, but with 20/20 hindsight, I was a “Child with Dynamite”... and no one could have told me different.

Some of the replies to NOOB questions here at MRP are as savage as they were on PUA boards 11 years ago. PUAs would berate AFCs for not doing X number of approaches, or losing frame, or being a general cum stain on the dance floor. Don’t get me wrong, savage is necessary to pull a AFC out of his ass, something I have felt here in several of my posts. But those “PUA”s with their savage comments had the same Beta Blind Spot waiting around the corner as the rest of us.

I am getting unbelievable value in my life from the changes I have been initiating because of PR awareness and MRP. I will not stop, it is now part of me, just like the PUA skills I learned a lifetime ago. I also value your productive input as well as the savage responses to smash me back into RP awareness.

But the thought sits there in the back of my mind… Am I... are we playing with dynamite again?
