Cancels 4th date? Proper reaction?

You are a man with a lot of fun things going on in your life.

If a woman cancels on meeting up, it makes no difference because you'll simply do something else fun and exciting that you enjoy, perhaps with another woman. Girl #1 is simply missing out on the valuable time she could be spending with you.

Certainly, a high value guy with so much stuff going on in his life is not going to get butthurt at some girl flaking on him and say "Next time tell me earlier that you're canceling", since as previously mentioned, he doesn't give a shit.

The real question you should ask yourself is, does she value the opportunity to hang out with me?

If the answer is yes, then you're fine. Otherwise if she pulls something like that again, it's time for a soft next and to figure out why she's not jumping at the chance to see you.

Don't use words, use action. If she cancels again, soft next and move on.

Cancels once out of 4 dates and you've had sex? Life happens, I would not worry.

Ask her out again, and if she cancels or makes an excuse it means you screwed up somehow. Maybe you were bad in bed, had BO, moved too fast, whatever. Analyze what went wrong and don't do it again.

Sometimes shit really happens in real life. Don't let it become a trend, but I'd say have her make it up to you on the next one "somehow".

Life happens and sometimes dates have to be cancelled.

If she's really in to you, she'll be apologetic (3 apology texts, so far so good) AND offer a reschedule on the spot.

If she just vaguely cancels with no reschedule, its a strong sign that she's not very interested.

The K response is appropriately terse if no reschedule or a repeat offense; it may have been too abrupt if she really did have something come up and plans to try again with you. Since you DID have sex last date and she was apologetic, I might have been a bit more jovial about it, at least this time.

Move on and get someone else. If she changes her tune perhaps this can be salvaged but it looks like she is prone to flake or is seeing someone else and you her side dish.
