Yes they do. But it takes a while to become visible. There's whole stages of denial, compromise and acceptance to get through. The wide will be miserable too of course, but she'll hide it better.

Most people generally look miserable. Most people generally don't know how little control they have over their lives. You can become a slave to anything.

Navigating a marriage is like navigating any other relationship or arrangement. if you don't have a backbone you're going to have a bad time. People are opportunistic and nobody, not even your lovely wife or girlfriend, is going to take it easy on you because you're too much of a pussy to deal.

It's just the structure of married life these days. If they have kids, that's a huge drain on their life. They're fucking exhausting, even if they're good kids.

Also he probably has to deal with shit he doesn't care about like getting asked what decorations they should use for each holiday, as if he fucking cares.

You pay a price for stability. Then again, maybe he just had a bad week at work.

I'm pretty happy. But, to agree with you, I would bet that happiness without a LTR is probably easier to achieve. A lot depends on your definition of happiness and life goals.

It is amazing how much joy and frustration kids can be at the same time.

Also, 80% of happiness comes from inside. I know some people who have terrible luck and life has repeatedly dealt them a raw deal, but they are still very happy people.

nah, it's not just you. I disagree that they all look miserable, because I def know of some older couples that at least put on a good performance in public, but for many it is a raw deal. I'd rather be alone and selfish with my time than make sacrifices for a woman and her hell spawn. On that note, the men I find to be the most miserable are recent divorcees, especially if they have kids. There are way too many men in my family who fit into this category ,and goddamn are they miserable. Dont get married lol

Happy ones are out there. The ones I've seen usually are fit, alpha, or successful to begin with, and tend to have higher SMV than their wife. And they have one or more kids that they love very much.

But yes, lots of unhappy guys out there.
