Title sort of says it all. I make 50k a year, and pay 750 a month for rent. Between payment and insurance the car costs me 500 a month to have. Its an M series BMW, and I work in sales, so having a nice image with the car is somewhat necessary.

I wouldn't be moving into a junker, but definitely something where I wouldnt have a payment.

I spend about two hours a day commuting in said car. In a way the happiness it brings me justifies owning it.

Is the point of making money and working not to enjoy it? Though an extra 500 a month would be nice to have.
