Long story short I met a girl through a shared hobby, after a few weeks asked her out and we settled on drinks before meeting the group. Tried to escalate and couldn’t really get anywhere. Went out again the following week with the same result. I could have done better but having to meet up with the group soon made it tough.

Asked her out a couple of times on nights that we didn’t have to meetup with the group and just kept getting some form of “I’m busy”, so I’ll take the rejection and move on. What doesn’t make sense to me is that she still really wants us to meet up as a group.

I’m not looking to be friends with her but I don’t want to make a big deal out of it, how do I cut her out?
