This is just a call for a general discussion regarding the whole pick up artist scene.

Here's my 2 cents:

I think about 90% of the whole pickup artist stuff is a bit creepy and is often cope for having deficienciess in other parts of your life as a man. 90% of these guys are out of shape, don't have a lot of money and spend their days talking to 100's strange women to try to get an instagram so they can hopefully get laid. They go further into it by using a plethora of cringy terms like "notch count" "day game" etc etc.

At the end of the day literally you just need to have a social life, be in good shape, have some passions that you can talk about, be funny and have a good understanding of social dynamics. Anything past that and you're either coping or wasting your time.

I'm not here to flex but i've never had issues with getting women and i've never really looked into this whole pickup artist stuff too much, i've seen the videos yes but in my opinion there's very little you can actually apply and it's often just a compilation of some guy "running day game", which is basically them going up to random women in the street being creepy and after doing that for 10-15 times they'll get a girl (who is probably just easy) to give them their phone number. There's a huge difference between doing that and flirting with the girl that works at the starbucks that you go to a couple times a week or meeting a girl in a bar or in a club.

My advice to any of the guys heavily consuming this type of content would be to just take an honest look at yourself first and see if there's any obvious stuff that needs fixing (shit haircut, no muscles, socially awkward) and fix that first. Make sure you have some hobbies where you get to meet a lot of people, go out, and try to talk to some girls while at a bar or in a club. And be cool with just being friends with girls as well, you'll get to know a lot of girls by just being friends with a couple of them.

I promise if you just do that you're not going to have to do all this weird overcompensating stuff, no "day game", no talking to 100's of random girls on the street.

Just be funny, have some interesting hobbies, get in shape, don't be fucking weird, befriend some girls and make sure you do your job in bed if you sleep with one of them. That's literally all you need.

Sidenote: i'd advise against just sleeping with girls to sleep with them, sure one night stands can happen but in general you want to be looking for a girl that you can start a relationship with. I've slept around a lot when i was younger and even as a guy it's just not good for your mentality or general view of women if you do that for extended periods of time.
