I think the pull/push is interpreted in different ways.

One version is that you show attention to a girl then withdraw it and is more suited to a girl that already likes you. The way I like to do it is to make the interaction I have with them really intense/fun regardless of who started it but then once the interaction is over, they don't get any contact at all unless they come to me or some sufficient time has passed for me to go to them. Over time you start to pull back bit by bit and they get addicted to the fun vibe but they are forced to come to you for it. It makes them chase.

If you're gonna do this in a club environment, she already needs to be somewhat interested in you and even then there is so much male competition it's a bit risky. Going up and having a few lines of boring convo and then bouncing will not work.

The other version of a push pull is what people refer to a neg. It's sorta like a compliment but with a slight cheeky diss also thrown in. It shows you're interested in a way that keeps your frame, doesn't make it seem like your groveling and also keeps it fun and flirtatious. You gotta be careful with these cause if it's not done right it can easily offend or put off and that isn't the purpose.

You have to let a woman think she's winning you. If you go above and beyond, tripping over yourself, calling her 20 times, texting her all the time. She's not going to think that, you will seem desperate.

If its not something you can immediately escalate than just let it simmer for a bit

Push/pull is an "action", that occurs in a dimension, and there are MANY dimensions in which to push/pull. Krauser lays this out very well in his Daygame Mastery book. For example:

- physical: get closer...get further away. touch her a lot...don't touch.

- attraction: tell her something specific about herself that you find hot...tease her about something that you don't

- emotions: lead her in pull up positive emotions and negative emotions with "what caused you to do that" and "how did that make you feel?" questions on positive/negative things she brings up

- your interest/availability: sometimes urging things along, sometimes distant/vague/later re: getting together.

You get the idea. You can push/pull her in all sorts of ways.

Dude, it's not bad to set up a premise of you being attracted to her... What you gotta understand about this whole thing is that it's absolutely natural to desire a body, but it's crazy to fall in love with someone without getting to know them.

That's what pushing and pulling is about. It's about the mind. It's about her character. You can make it obvious you like what you see, but you have to make her doubt whether you like her as a person. And it's not like this is a rule (although if we're gonna go for having sex with women just for their body, which I totally understand, then yeah - let's say it's a rule then) - it's just a healthy mindset: you're supposed to screen a girl for the qualities you're looking for in a girlfriend.

If you're in it just for the ass, then yeah. Just pretend you don't like her and that she's only slowly growing on you. Once you show yourself as a high value person with standards, she will begin to qualify herself to you. That's how you get her.

If you have abundance, you have sources of sex and you're at this place in life where you're looking for the one, then your attitude when approaching should be "Oh, I like what I see. I wonder if she's as cool as she is good looking". You approach with positivity, with a smile (with the assumption that she likes you already - that's a healthy mindset for approaches), but with doubt about her as a person - and you're approaching to remove those doubts.

You gotta do to the woman what you wish a woman would do to you. A woman will play these games and test you, you'll rarely hear her say up front "I wasn't so sure about liking you, but you're slowly growing on me". But this is the sort of thing you have to do to her. This is what she needs and is counting for!

"Finally a non-needy guy who doesn't put me on a pedestal, doesn't assume I'm perfect (and omg I'm so imperfect, I'm so self conscious, like, omg) and wants to actually get to know me as a person and doesn't treat me like a fleshlight from the get-go".

OR it might be something of the sort: "Wait, what, everyone loves me, everyone always falls head over heels over me, why is this guy so reluctant, what the heck. This is kind of hot. I want him to like me. Oh, you like My Chemical Romance? OH MY GOD I LOVE MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE (honestly though, what the fuck is My Chemical Romance?), I really do!"

I agree with you, why not just show interest if you are interested?
