Went to a wedding a few weeks ago, and saw my buddy (we'll call him Joe) had brought a date (we'll call her Ashleigh) whom I had met a few times before. I knew, as did everyone else, that they were just friends, and that Joe wasn't trying to hook up with her, so there was no awkwardness about the rest of us flirting with her...so we did. (Joe has no issues with women, he just wanted to bring a girl that was fun, and...she is a lot of fun). Well I played it cool with her...didn't try too hard throughout the wedding/reception...didn't pick up many IOIs from her either (hard to tell with this girl because she has an extremely outgoing bubbly personality...gets along with everyone). So I spent a good bit of time talking up the other girls at the wedding, old friends, having fun. In the mean time, I notice my friend (let's call him Dave) is trying pretty hard to get with this girl...and getting pretty drunk too. Seems like he has a decent shot so I just let him go with it.

After the reception, we all head to a bar and sort of split up. I spend most of the time on one side of the bar talking to another female friend who wasn't at the wedding (she's very attractive), while Ashleigh, Dave, and a bunch of the other people are on the other side of the bar. At this point, I sort of stopped paying attention to them because I was with another attractive female and we were having fun talking. But, every now and then I'd look over and see Ashleigh with all the guys and mouth something funny at her or something. After an hour or two, we end up all going to another bar, and sort of the same thing happens. I occasionally pass by Ashleigh and we have a quick laugh. Nothing more, and still don't really pick up on a strong IOI.

As the bar is closing, we all decide to head back to my place to continue the fun. I notice Ashleigh telling Jon that she wants to come along (she's supposed to be staying at Jon's place). Jon tells her to go, he's fine with that, says he'll be up later (I know he won't be as he's going to stay at another girl's place). Dave ends up coming as well and I assume they will probably be hooking up...no big deal.

After about 30 min, almost everybody, including Ashleigh and Dave start falling asleep on each other on the couch, while myself, and a few others who weren't staying the night, stayed up to chat. Once they left, I started waking the couch people up to get them into more comfortable sleeping arrangements. Ashleigh and another friend (not Dave) were the only ones to wake up.

So I get Ashleigh some clothes to wear for the night (she's still in her dress from the wedding, me in my suit), and show her the guest bedroom. So a little trick: I always leave stuff on the guest bed that way it gives me an opportunity to be like "well I can clean all this stuff off, or you can just sleep in my bed." Before I can even finish she is nodding her head up and down with a smile. Now, remember we really haven't flirted much at this point, and neither of us are really intoxicated...so I'm like "WTF?! How did I not see this coming?"

Within a few min, I have her completely naked and we're making out like crazy...we don't have sex (fairly confident it could have happened if I had froze her out a bit), but we still have a long night of having fun and I can tell she likes me. The next morning, while we're laying there, I asked her why she wasn't more obvious that she liked me. At this point, she proceeds to tell me about 6 or 7 different events throughout the day/night that I was honestly completely oblivious to somehow, and how she was telling Jon earlier in the night how cute I was (he confirmed this with me later). Apparently the only reason she wanted to come up to my place was because of me, and she described Dave as the "gay, safe friend." For the record, Dave's not gay.

Next morning, I end up driving her and the others back. Later that night, she texts me and says she had a good time, can't wait to hang out again.

We exchange a few phone calls and texts the coming week, and finally make a plan to hang out on Friday night. She texts me at 5:01p (I work until 5ish) to make sure I'm still coming to visit. Since both of us were tired from a pretty long week of work, we decide to just take it easy. We end up going to her older sister's place and hang out with a few other couples there, watch some movies. I was digging the fact that she was introducing me to her sister the 2nd time hanging out. Everything was going pretty well.

Now we hadn't actually discussed me staying the night at her place. Before it even comes up, she tells me to leave my car at her sister's place and we'll get it in the morning. (Cool, I guess I'm staying!). We go back to her house, chat for a bit, put a movie in, make out a little bit, but mostly just cuddle and then fall asleep. I have to believe the reason is that she's renting a room from a friend and he/she had to be up at 5am in the morning, and the house is kinda bad with dampening sound. Anyway, we get up Sat morning, decide to go get breakfast, and she offers to pay since "I drove down". I try once to refuse but then let her. After breakfast, we head back...hang out for a bit more and then I decide to get going home. She gives me a nice kiss goodbye and says thanks for driving down, and we'll talk soon. Didn't talk to her the rest of Saturday (she had plans with some other people and so did I). Sunday, I was busy all day (she knew that too). Finally, Sunday night I send her a few texts. Get a few back. Kind of a slow convo. We're both pretty tired so I tell her I'll call Monday night.

I call Monday night, no answer, no return call. At this point I fell that since I had to initiate two nights of convo in a row, I'm gonna wait and let her contact me first. I proceed to hear nothing from her all week, not even a text. Friday, early evening, I send her a "You still alive?!" text. She sends one back right away saying "Sorry I've had a crazy week. I'll call you later."

That was this past Friday, and still nothing.

What the hell just happened?
And what's my next move?

tl;dr: Hooked up with girl. Things were going pretty good. Then...radio silence (sorta).
