I met HB8 on OKCupid a few weeks ago. First date was pretty normal game. A few rounds of beer and an escalation to a K-close.

Tonight I had my 2nd date with her. I met her at a local bar for a round and presented her with some options for the night. Jazz music, skee ball, indie music, food, or 'miracle fruit'.

After the first round we grabbed a bite at a local restaurant. Nothing remarkable about the game there. Just good food and some nice atmosphere. One big change in my game recently is that I now have the balls to try and f-close it on the 2nd date. I used to always have a problem escalating that fast.

Anyway, the real gem of the night was a tactical one. Seriously fellas, you gotta check out miracle fruit. They're these dried fruit tablets that make your taste buds go all haywire for a few hours. They make sweet foods taste sour and sour foods taste sweet! Here's a NYTimes article about them . They're only about $15 for a pack of 10. Pick some up here. They're a fantastic way to get a HB back to your apartment! I used to hate asking a HB to come back to my apartment on date 2 or 3 because it feels like a thinly veiled attempt at sex. Of course you have to give them the plausible deniability in 'the ask' for them to even consider it. That's what's great about the miracle fruit 'ask', if you pull it off correctly, it comes off as an offer to try something completely new & different . You're basically DHVing by even asking her, since it's an experience she's probably never had before. (Lately my game has centered around being a source of excitement in a HB's life - ALWAYS be the one who is expanding her horizons by introducing her to new experiences and being fucking passionate about everything you guys do together)

So, yeah, HB8 comes back to my place. We do the miracle fruit in my bedroom, which quickly turns to making out. Pretty much open and shut from there. A nice smooth no-LMR f-close...
