Yup, getting over oneitis feels very liberating and you question yourself why you fawned over her in the first place.

I knew thread like this would come up today. Feels so good, I must type it up (under a random account of course).

Yesterday, I beat one my loose-oneitis of 7 years. I fell in love with this girl from the moment I saw her and every minute we ever spent together only confirmed what I knew from that first moment: she's the one.

I've had other relationships during this time, but always loved this one girl, that friendzoned me HARD. I was fixed on her during my 3 year relationship with someone else, that's how deep it was inside of me. In fact, she painfully shut me down twice during different relationships. (I couldn't stop trying.)

It has now been over 2 years since I've had anything serious and since I started learning the way of the manwhore.

3 days ago, I met her "for a chat", we got drunk and I kept my distance, I took her home without trying anything, but after a ton of probing questions I did confess to her that I still loved her, but that I'm over it and don't need anything from her, just chasing moments and enjoying myself. This sparked something in her, I didn't think much of it. Until yesterday, when she called me up and said that she has something fun planned for us. It was the best night of my life and once we were "done", we discussed the future. I held her in my arms the entire time she slept and couldn't stop staring at her, couldn't even blink, stayed awake the entire night.

It happened, it finally fucking happened and it was everything I dreamed of and more.

Now maybe we'll break up in a week, maybe we'll spend the rest of our lives together. Time will show, but one thing I can be certain of is this: if I was hung up on her and her alone, I'd still be fapping solo, but I didn't, I went out and tried every skirt I could get my hands on, became more mature, experienced and more fun to be around. It paid off.

I bow down to you sir. I have been suffering for a few months now, despit numerous dates, K closes and a few f closes. I swear women are more into me when I want to be with another girl...

Perhaps it stems from the not give a fuck attitude, and I broadcast this more when I'm interested in another girl, and not trying to get these girls to like me.

I just had a breakthrough in a reddit post....

Something I have learned about this: Abundance doesnt help for SHIT in getting over oneitis. I could bang 1000 girls, but being around the oneitis will still cause me to flip the neediness switch. "I did all this for youuuuuu" mentality.

You have to find completeness in yourself, not look outside for validation.

i slip in and out of it. If I don't have contact with her long enough i start to claw my way out. Then I will get a text, or see her randomly in an event then its back again.

I'm not complaining, I do enjoy the push and pull dynamic. She's an awesome girl... and so's the other 6000+ girls allotted to me in this beautiful SF.
