I agree, but I find that once the adrenaline is pumping, you will not be anxious as soon as you stand up. Your body kind of submits that you've gotten yourself into it now so there's no point in being anxious any more. You might not necessarily be confident as such, but I certainly find I'm not anxious.

I don't think it's a big issue. This is because nowadays a significant % of males are pretty much NEETs, especially at a younger age due to technology. My legs were pretty huge already naturally (Or I don't know how) so I don't really notice a lot of growth in my thighs since most of my jeans are pretty tight anyway considering I'm only 5'8. They probably have grown, I just haven't really noticed it. I assumed he meant aesthetic muscle gains though. From what I've seen (Anecdotal, but it still has significance considering it's 100%) all women who make demands such as 'The guy must be at least 6ft tall' or other generally very picky criteria are fat/feminists. I think it's often the type of women you're after. The bread and butter of TRP is the sluts for quick sex and plates. Alpha and Beta are just kind of character archetypes, you can be alpha in some ways and beta in others. It's a lot easier to describe the extremes becuase if you weren't, you would be to describing almost every relationship and that's no help at all. Learn something really well so you can pretty much say it from memory. Then learn some other stuff similar to it. Then recap and try and recall everything you learnt in that section. You got it all? On a related note, as somebody starting out with improving their SMV, would you recommend Stronglifts 5x5 or ICF more? I've been doing ICF the last 3 weeks because it is more hypertrophy focused, and am not yet suffering with overwork (affecting the main lifts). I'm mid exam period at the end of the U.Ks equivalent of middle school, but it ends a year later, so I'm 16. Treat Calisthenics as you treat weights. Don't do 100 push-ups a day, it would be must more beneficial to muscle growth if you trained like you do with weights ; much harder exercises and much lower reps. As somebody else said, /r/bodyweightfitness is a far better resource for calisthenics than this sub-reddit will ever be.

I can't remember the name, but a basic rule of TRP is that women tend to go after their own perceived SMV or higher. There's your answer, the hotter girls can get hotter guys therefore they have higher standards. I'm pretty sure there was a story recently (In Sweden maybe) where a girl made a false rape allegation against a guy. However, the guy, it turned out, video taped the whole thing and blatantly disproved the rape allegation. However, the girl was not charged, the guy was charged with slander and defamation. So it seems like a bit of a lose/lose, your reputation gets fucked either way and there's no way to stop that as concrete counter-evidence is required to sway the judging of society.
