Yes thank you. My type is simps.

Yes I only date “simps” and I don’t know where you’re going to be paying that much on first dates but whatever. If risking $100 on a date is too much for you as a man then I don’t know what to say but I forget you guys don’t have standards so it gets kind of expensive to pay for dinner when you’re trying to fuck anything that moves. Men who are selective and care about long term/compatibility won’t blink an eye when paying for dinner cause they’re not trying to sleep with 5 women a week so like …

I can multi task don’t worry. He agrees with me cause he’s an actual gentleman. I hope every woman gets to experience that which is why I’m here. Good luck to your next victim that is desperate enough to risk her life/safety by having sex with a man who paid five dollars for a coffee.

This is why I meet people like my current boyfriend in real life so you don’t have to worry about any of that. A couple hours of conversation at an event or a bar should be enough to know if I can sit across from someone and enjoy dinner with them. I haven’t been on the apps in years and have been telling all the women in my life to stay away from them because of men like you. I’ve only ever been on dinner dates on first dates and I’ve never had issues and have had good long term relationships f…

All I can say to women lurking on this sub is listen to the men and listen to them closely. Read every comment in this thread because as usual they are telling on themselves. If you’re a coffee/drinks/walk date warrior understand that you are most likely encountering a guy that doesn’t take you seriously or wants to be a playboy. If you’re that kind of woman kudos to you, but if you’re not listen to these men and stop accepting low effort dates. Good luck ladies. Edit to add: notice how these me…

Lmao if you’re not looking for life partners then why are you mad at women who are using dates as a barometer for men that are serious versus those that are not? Based on your replies the women are right to reject coffee and drinks if they are looking for something serious then right? You’ll be left with the women that are fine with casual right? So what’s the problem?

I’m so sorry but them saying women are dating up on apps is absolutely false. Any sane woman that has swiped on the apps for more than 5 minutes can see the abysmal state of straight men. They look like gremlins and it takes 100 swipes just to stumble upon a relatively attractive guy. I saw maybe a handful of “chad” worthy profiles when I was still online dating. If anything, online dating makes women settle wayyy more than men want to believe. Having to swipe through the ugliest profiles you’ve…

To all the women mentioning the true psychopaths and sociopaths, please realize these men make make up less than 1% of the population. The likelihood of you meeting a true conman is so small that most of us are lucky to never meet them in our life times. And even then, these types of men are predators and will go for weaker prey. I 100% agree with OP on this because men are truly dumb and lazy and would never go this length to con a woman unless she was the president of some country.

I think the sex-posy movement has normalized this kind of creep behavior for women and a lot are scared of being seen as a prude if they don’t accept unwanted physical touch. I would actually hear a lot women saying it’s a red flag if a guy isn’t all over you or wanting to have sex you by the third date in college. It’s crazy how much of what should be deemed as unhinged behavior is now seen as desirable because women are being pushed to be as sexually available as possible.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/01/22 04:21 PM

That’s what’s so hilarious to me because it means they lack experience dating women or they only chase women who barely like them. I’ve seen too many women who I’m close to and barely know bragging about all they do for their boyfriends. If you just go to the forever girlfriend tales tag there’ll be a myriad of stories of women constantly auditioning to be wives by buying houses, cars, having children etc. If a man can’t get a pickme to cater to him it means he’s truly undesirable.

If you’ve ever watched Dr. Ramani on YouTube , she would advise the exact opposite. Grey rocking narcissists is the only way to go. Any sort of attention is good attention to them and they’ll just try to make you look like you’re unreasonable and crazy. Your therapist isn’t that great considering they think narcissists operate on the same level as everyone else. Edit: spelling

Yeah I’m over women trying to veer men in the right direction. From what I’ve observed, the only thing that makes men change is consequences. Therapy is just a way for them to trauma dump on professionals and feed their egos because they’ll leave thinking they’ve done something. It’s like porn addiction. Most men were fine with how it degrades women and is a vile industry until they started getting PIED in droves. Now all of a sudden what women have been talking about for decades is this new ide…

While I think therapy can be a powerful tool for men, I think too many women have become excited by the wonders they believe it can do for men. I’ve seen too many liberal/leftist men weaponize therapy to make themselves look like they are working on themselves when in reality they are misrepresenting themselves in therapy and doing absolutely no work. A lot will just absorb the jargon to sound emotionally intelligent and brag to those around them. All of the men I’ve met who’ve reported going to…

I feel the exact same way. I just landed a manager role with great benefits on a great team and I’m so happy to be able to save for my first house. It’s my first “adult” job (early twenties) and I’m happy to start off my retirement savings early. As soon as I got the news about the job, I stopped thinking about dating all together. While I like this sex strategy, I would’ve been out the door after a week of his behavior. At this point he’s not listening on purpose and will probably never make her orgasm. I’m glad she has the confidence to uphold her boundaries and expectations but I’m sure with age and experience she’ll learn she can dump a man as soon as he’s not showing the effort and care to make her orgasm.

And this is why you don’t do drink dates. They might not be cheaper than dinner but there’s more of a guarantee of getting laid for men since drinking lowers your inhibitions. They know what they’re doing and it’s not trying to get to know anyone.

Yep a majority of men see sex as a scratch to itch which is why most are perfectly okay having sex with women they have absolutely no interest in. Being desired by men sexually means nothing. And most will settle if they get lonely enough. That’s why I want women to flip the script and realize that men have to prove themselves to them and we should be the ones judging them based on their sexual history/behavior. Dating a habitual player/community dick gets you nothing but hurt and embarrassment.

Great strategy and just goes to show this isn’t just a heterosexual issue. All relationships can be impacted by low effort and hook up culture.

Exactly. A lot of women believe it’s possible for there to be exceptions in these scenarios but I don’t agree at all. I feel that once a man suggests sleeping early he is LV no matter what. I don’t believe HVM would even entertain the thought. That might hurt a lot of women who think their partner is perfect despite this but it’s my honest opinion. I would immediately get the ick if a man that seemed perfect in every other way ended up acting this way towards me.

I used to like their relationship without knowing the details of it but when I learned she proposed to him I checked out. I’m not surprised it started out that way. Every relationship I’ve seen like that has included a lukewarm man who does the bare minimum to upkeep the relationship. Even if they get married the relationship never seems to be “relationship goals” to me.

This was 100% my experience as well. I ended up in a long term relationship with a man I had sex with quickly and I resented him the whole time. After that there was no dating or courting. It was us hanging out at his place almost everyday and going out every once in a while. The intimacy was rushed so I let the bond we’d created through sex cloud my judgment. I’ve learned the longer I wait the easier it is for me to have a clear mind to judge properly and walk away when I need to. When sex is i…

This question is answered in the FDS handbook thoroughly. FDS does not believe in moving in with boyfriends before marriage or engagement. Your situation is even more precarious because you can’t afford to live alone as it is so he has an upper hand if the mask slips. I advise you read the handbook thoroughly and really reconsider moving in with your boyfriend through all the advice this thread has given you.

Almost every post praising a “HVM” is like this and it makes me so sad. My dad is HV and I’ve been around other HV men so much that most things women praise I see as the bare minimum. I don’t even think twice when I see a man doing chores or being a generally considerate person. Men shouldn’t be praised for being basic human beings. Empathy, compassion, and effort should be normal. The difference between what’s expected from HVW and HVM is depressing.

But you’re exposing yourself to countless men early which is a shit safety tactic. It makes no sense to go to mens houses early on and expose yourself for the sake of it. Better to find out one guy is a rapist after months than 10. You’re tactic is way more dangerous and does absolutely nothing to weed out LVM because house “dates” are already low effort which is the whole point of fds. No reason to use low effort dates to vet when the whole point is finding an HVM that wouldn’t even dream of su…

I’m sorry but that’s not hv at all. He might be behaving now but trust that later in the future his lack of a provider mentality will have you arguing about finances and splitting bills. I personally don’t believe in splitting bills ever. Even after marriage but that’s a major red flag that he even suggested splitting anything early on. I would be on edge after that because that shows his character.

I’m sorry but this advice fails to consider the major point in the fact that it’s a huge safety concern. Your safety is more important than trying to figure out if a man will try and coerce you into having sex which is why we always advise waiting months before spending time in a man’s house. A man is a stranger around 3-8 dates in. Going to their home in that time span to “check” for compatibility is not smart considering how dangerous men are to women. That is not a good vetting strategy and t…

I consider my dad HV and every holiday/birthday he gets my mom a custom floral arrangement with a chocolate basket from a well known chocolate factory and other gifts on top of it all. The arrangements are always scheduled ahead of time and delivered to the door. Any man that stops by the grocery store five minutes before heading home from work is LV and lazy. It takes absolutely no effort and women should stop accepting it.

Yep, men are getting more desperate and wisening up. Most won’t even dare to pay 50/50 now because that means their chances of getting laid are nada. Women hold the cards in dating because men are the ones who are desperate. Me and most of my friends can go months without dating or sex. Men on the other hand go insane.

The one thing I hate the most about sex work promoters is that they think they are being revolutionary. Just because marriage is patriarchal doesn’t mean sex work/prostitution isn’t a different side of the same coin. It’s literally the physical manifestation of the Madonna-whore complex. It is why men have a hard time seeing women as fully sexual human beings. All sex work does is further the dichotomy. Sex workers are just as much patriarchal crusaders as any other pickme that is willing to do …

Absolutely, and that’s why I don’t like the idea that women should approach to vet this because men take advantage. Just broach the topic. No need to put yourself in that situation because 9/10 you’ll look like a clown and be discarded as soon as something better comes along. Who wants to be in a relationship run by passive reciprocation?

Women always forget that men aren’t the choosers so they take what they can get. Most have gone months without sex involuntarily so when they even get a whiff of a chance with a woman they’ll take it even if you’re not their type. Trying to find the one man not like this isn’t worth sifting through the garbage.

Most of them are 100% delusional and the one woman who actually approaches him out of interest further feeds those delusions. I wish men weren’t so insane. I don’t know how they have so much cognitive dissonance. How do they function?

Yep every man that said they’re fine with it only mentioned how flattering it is not that they would take her seriously. They can continue to complain about having to approach for the rest of their lives. I have no sympathy.

This is a reminder for all the women who think approaching men is harmless. Many of the comments on this post expressed the sentiment that men either believe a) she’s conning them in some way or b) she’s desperate and there must be something wrong with her. There’s a commonly held belief that women that are desirable will not have to work for men’s attention. Because of this, most men assume an attractive woman will wait to be approached versus do the initiating. It doesn’t matter if you look li…

And even when they do do that (evidenced by the dead bedroom sub) they expect to be praised for acting like an adult for 1 week and are shocked when their wife doesn’t reward them with sex. It’s very obvious what they’re doing and it’s why their wives get more frustrated when they do start putting in effort. No one wants to be treated like a sex machine that’s supposed to put out when a man puts in a smidge of effort to get laid. They need to be active partners 24/7.

This so true and why taking advice from men is a form of self harm. They project their broken way of viewing the world on us all the time. As women we know looks aren’t everything but they have to remind themselves of this all the time because they can’t think past their dicks. Many men will stay with a woman for years just because she’s hot and assume we do the same with men we find attractive. It just doesn’t work that way for us because we ultimately want emotionally fulfilling relationships.

The stories I’ve heard from nurses🤢 Women will straight up have sex in the hospital bed after they’ve given birth. That’s how horrific and sociopathic most men are. I only sympathize with women in dead bedrooms because most times the man is a porn addict that doesn’t see women as human beings and is lazy and low effort. The reverse is rarely the situation for men. It all truly revolves around laziness when it comes to men on both sides because most are too selfish to care about anyone but themselves. It’s the case 99% of the time that the woman has just given birth, is taking care of everything while going to work, is dealing with a man child, etc., but these men would rather wallow in their self pity and get internet points than change to make their wives desire them. I hate, hate, hate the push that physical attraction is some low level primal urge we should avoid. Romantic relationships are a mix of several types of attraction and without one of them, the relationship is doomed. It’s not superficial at all to reject people solely based on looks. Proposal rings are a great signifier of your financial future with a man. Finances are the number one cause for divorce. If a man lies to you about the ring he gets it’s means he’s a) too broke to be getting married and b) will be financially irresponsible and lie to you about his purchasing habits in the future. Every woman should check to make sure their ring is real. Never trust that a man is being honest because I’ve seen a ton of older and younger women get embarrassed when they find out th…

This is really true. As an early twenties, most older men overestimate their importance to us. On OLD I used to have older men send me messages or likes that looked borderline desperate. They would try and surpass the age limit by appearing younger because they know most women stay in their own age range. There is absolutely no reason to create another flag when the premise of the red flag is a stop sign, a red light, or “do not pass go.” Most red flags are accompanied by other red flags. A liar is usually a criminal, addict, abuser, or narc. There is nothing too harsh about walking away from “small” red flags. There are tons of small red flags that mean a lot more in further context. I have never heard of a work place that requires makeup and heels besides the beauty industry so that assumption is null and void. Banning things won’t fix the larger issue. And even in these so called “casual” environments lookism still exists subconsciously because of societal conditioning and pretty privilege in general. You think natural beauties don’t exist? Yeah…no. Banning will just reinforce the idea that women who are attractive are wh***s intent on distracting men and extracting their desires. It also won’t topple the beauty hierarchy but instead make it harder for women who don’t naturally look like models to survive. Men are already cruel enough to average/ugly women, imagine if women had no means of alleviating that or surviving? I agree. I’m at a point where I feel contempt for men. I could care less what they think or do and focus on the women they harm day in and day out. I don’t argue with them or try and hurt their feelings because they are parasites and feed off of any and all energy.

It’s not about what you think though, it’s about what they think. There’s more thoughtful dates than coffee dates and if you’re that nervous it just means you need to work on your social skills or vet the man for longer before going on a date. It takes practice to be comfortable with dinner dates. I used to be nervous but it’s been years now and dinner dates are like nothing to me because I’ve never had a bad experience outside of a bit of disappointment if I knew it wasn’t gonna go anywhere. One of FDS’s main mantras is block and delete and that means engaging with all men. It’s the first rule in the handbook. LVM love any and all attention. All you are doing when you clap back is giving him the attention he is seeking and wasting your time. Walking away and ignoring is enough. Clap back all you want but don’t claim it’s an FDS strategy.

I never initiate after a date. I’ll thank them on the date but I’ll only text them if they tell me to text them if I get home safe. I’ll usually say “made it home😊” and then they’ll thank me for the day/night and I’ll thank them back. If he doesn’t tell me to text him when I’m home safe, I expect him to do the initial text. I also don’t say I’d love to do it again. It’s nudging them in a certain direction.

I literally said I like therapy and I think everyone should go to therapy. I don’t understand why you’re acting like I said it’s bad that he goes to therapy. I said it’s bad if a man discloses that early. Would I be happy if someone I had been dating for 6+ months mentioned therapy to me? Hell yeah that’s a green flag but on the second date? No! I’m trying to stick the topic at hand. I agree on everything else but I will not let women think it’s okay for men to have these conversations early on …

I understand what you are saying but that’s a much larger conversation outside of what that thread was meant for. Yes therapy should be normalized but we also need to acknowledge that lvm use therapy as a weapon and future leverage. Women who go to therapy are much different than men just on socialization alone. We can’t ignore power structures and systemic issues when talking about this because it dilutes the conversation and ends up enabling bad behaviors. A clear sign of a healthy person is b…

I’m glad we shared the same frustration. I almost thought I was on the relationship or dating sub. There were also tons of therapists in that thread enabling her but they failed to realize that a) clients lie to therapists all the time so doesn’t mean they’re going to be any better for it and b) we don’t use the same criteria to judge men that we do women. Too much talk about destigmatizing and not enough about the nature of men and their manipulative tactics. Makes me question the practice more…

Therapists are definitely enablers. I’ve seen a famous one lauded on here who’s a YouTuber. I forgot his name but I believe he’s half Asian? And he watches reality shows and attempts to assess them through the lens of a therapist. At first I was interested in the content but quickly noticed that he always gave clearly abusive men the benefit of the doubt and believed in the possibility of retribution for these lv men. I genuinely believe the communicate schtick was the worst thing to come out of…

People also forget that therapy is only helpful if the person is being honest to begin with. How many men will go cry to their therapists every week about their shit spouses, bosses, families, etc. to only be enabled because the therapist only knows one side of the story? Just like Lundy Bancroft says, therapy will never help with abusive men because they’ll just use the therapist as a triangulation tool.

I was trying not to gouge my eyes out reading through that thread. Most men don’t even like to talk about their struggles especially early on in the dating process because they’re socialized to be closed off emotionally. Any man that does this isn’t doing it because he’s evolved but because he’s being calculative. I would never even think to mention that to a man I’ve just started dating because why would I have that conversation with a stranger? We need to stop thinking that we can judge men an…

A lot of women don’t realize that mental health issues materialize differently in men and women. Women internalize and men externalize. We’re much more susceptible to change because we’re constantly told to be better. Men, on the other hand, are told they’re gods and fine how they are. It’s why I don’t judge women who stay away from men with mental health issues all together. We’re just not built the same.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/11/21 07:38 PM

Yes. I feel like some of the comments are giving way too much leeway to this because a majority of men are lv. Therapy can only help someone who’s shitty so much. Yay to therapy but any hv person would only talk about things like that with people they’ve vetted. It’s definitely a blood in the water test.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/11/21 06:44 PM

The issue isn’t about him being in therapy but more so bringing this up so early in the dating process. I don’t think men should be given a benefit of the doubt ever especially considering the history men have with using therapy to enable their lv behavior and psych language to gaslight their partners. Therapy is great but it’s not something that people should mention so early in. Suspicion is a better response here.

Red flag. I feel like men who are into opening up and having those kinds of conversations try to convince women they are emotionally intelligent and can be trusted. Divorced women and single mom’s/children actually make up a majority of impoverished people. This isn’t just a coincidence either, it’s systemic. It’s the patriarchy’s way of punishing women for not being good enough to hold down a man or stay married. It’s deliberate that we’re told to depend on men so we essentially hand them our lives and they have the power to do what they wish. The most dangerous thing a woman could do for her or her kids is to have no back up plan and rely on her male part…

I don’t believe intimacy needs trauma disclosing at all. I think that’s an unhealthy mindset about relationships that’s been spread too far. When you do the former, you can still form an intimate bond but it won’t require being exposed to the possibility of being retraumatized. The sick thing is porn is not natural. It’s a very new phenomena despite the cultural idea that porn has always existed. Voyeurism was always seen as an extreme fetish until recently. Men know what women want but they’re too lazy to do anything about it. Most also hate women and their desire for us so they’d rather pretend they don’t know as an excuse not to put any effort. Samantha is nowhere near an HV woman. I loved her character and watched the show too. Even though she had sex purely for pleasure, you could tell she had major attachment issues. She couldn’t get into a healthy relationship dynamic because she had deep insecurities that she wasn’t willing to face and used sex as a coping mechanism. I agree so much with this. It’s why I work hard to never be seen as a “great girlfriend” by men. The women they praise are women who are doormats and bangmaids because they know it favors them. I always felt bad about myself in the past because my exes would say I’m a terrible girlfriend since I wouldn’t coddle them and let them walk all over me. Women are victims. What’s wrong with acknowledging that? Having a gun also won’t help much if you shoot someone and are sentenced 25+ years for manslaughter. Having every safety precaution in place can definitely help protect you but it isn’t full proof. And this post isn’t advocating for women to stop being vigilant. I totally get what you’re saying and agree. I don’t think we should come out of this with a defeatist mindset that says we shouldn’t protect ourselves at all. I just think this idea that it’s always possible to avoid violence is wrong. Living as a woman is accepting that at some point in your life you will be subject to male violence. A woman who doesn’t isn’t necessarily better at protecting herself, just lucky. I think it’s important to highlight that strangers are just as dangerous as men we …

But the problem is that most of these dangers are extremely hard to avoid as well. Many examples of women getting roofied by bar tenders, maintenance men coming in randomly, leasing people using master keys, estranged coworkers with guns, abusive boyfriends or family, you name it. As much as we love to pretend working hard at protecting ourselves is enough, we fail to acknowledge that it only takes one slip up or one man we shouldn’t have trusted to have our lives in danger. That’s the part that breaks my heart because this victim blaming idea that women can protect themselves is always false. At this point, living without male violence is just luck. There’s no other solution to their depravity because we have to live among them and hope that the men around us with power and access to us aren’t going to harm us one day. What can we really do at this point?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/10/21 05:28 AM

Honestly because that would be the logical thing to do at this point. It’s not hard to come to the conclusion that statistically men are sociopathic. They’re even the greatest danger to themselves. Notice how women are rarely large threats to other people percentage wise. It’s always men.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/10/21 12:06 AM

Same. If a man ever tells me I’m kind or giving I would know they’re not paying attention to me at all. Everyone close to me know I’m a no nonsense type of person who is opinionated and strong headed. I could list a lot more but I reserve my kindness for friends and family. I rarely show these qualities in the initial stages of dating on purpose because men absolutely take advantage.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/10/21 11:00 PM
49

One major red flag a lot women look over is this. I see so many men say their SO is kind, caring, giving etc. but all those descriptions are attributed to some form of labor. He has to say he loves that you do x, y, z specific thing that no one else would know because it means he pays attention. I feel bad for all the women that think being called caring and giving is a badge of honor because that just means the men they’re with don’t notice anything else specific about them.

It’s exactly the same. Men are always praised and coddled for everything. I don’t care about women having height preferences or not but when women call other women shallow or mean girls for having standards it’s a whole different story. Yep this is passive reciprocation to the T. Many married men are in this position because it’s better than being single in their eyes.

Yes and it’s also why most men are reported as Ts and Js in their MBTIs. That’s what’s considered masculine so of course they’ll answer their tests in a way where the outcome of their personality is that they are more rational and logical. Instead of focusing on the why of these findings people individualize them taking away a much bigger conversation on how society influences how we perceive men and women.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/09/21 04:24 PM

Exactly! I did psychology for a year during undergrad before switching and learned that self-reporting also isn’t a concrete way to do studies/analyze individuals because there can be bias and people tend to agree more with good qualities versus bad. There’s no way to know someone’s true personality because they might think they’re agreeable and conscientious but those that know them will say not so because perspective matters. I think personality tests can be hard to do because of that alone. P…

I might be going against the grain here but the MBTI is not recognized in the psychology community. While I used to love the idea, I did some thorough research and learned that licensed psychologists see this the same way they see astrology. This is because in a study, participants results would vary depending on how they felt at that point in time. It wasn’t concrete and highly based on temporal individual determination of character. I had a similar experience where I had been an INFP for years…

Absolutely all of this it’s an unfortunate reality which I wish wasn’t true. I grew up poor when I was really young because my father was still going through residency but once he got his MD license our lives changed drastically. Going through that made financial stability extremely important for me in life and partnership. It’s why I have no issues with hypergamy because I’ve seen how children in poorer families are set back and don’t want that for my future children.

I would say all of your qualities qualify in what I’m talking about and I would be very impressed if I was a man. Those kinds of men tend to be narcissistic and unfortunately doctors and lawyers are more like to have this attitude. My mom is very artistically inclined and similar to you in her accomplishments even though she does have a degree and while my dad is a doctor, he respects and values her artistic intellect which was also passed down to one of my sisters. Don’t think it’s not possible…

That’s not an hv man and a degree doesn’t mean ambition or intellect. There’s other ways to gain financial independence like certifications or trade schooling. That man was just a piece of shit who was negging you.

I like the Diabla sub. It has a few posts on hypergamy but for the most part I use real life experience. Because of my family I’ve grown up around wealthier families and have seen both lv and hv high earners/providers and how they think and operate. I do like Anna Bey in terms of fashion advice and demeanor despite her other problematic takes. You can search up hypergamy on YouTube. Yes that is true unfortunately which is why I’m preparing to not find the type of man that I’m looking for. I don’t want to marry into a notoriously rich family because I wouldn’t want to live in that kind of dynamic but I do think ambitious men that are working on being doctors, entrepreneurs, lawyers etc. can have the capacity to get to that level of status while also looking for the same in their partners. My dad came from a very poor family and now he is considered upper class on his salary …

Thanks for adding the ETA because I feel like people refuse to live in reality. Obviously not all rich men are HV but high earning men are very intentional. It’s also why they end up in such high earning positions. I’m not saying all of us should be going for CEOs and CFOs but if your goal is dating high earners (150k being on the lower spectrum) be aware of these dynamics so you’re not chasing something unattainable. I understand where you’re coming from but I don’t think having a bachelor’s or masters is the main point of my post. There’s other ways to become financially independent. I’ve met many intellectual people who didn’t have a conventional formal background. My main point is having ambition and intellect. Gaining these thing doesn’t mean working yourself to death. Exactly. We talk all the time about qualities that we expect HVM to have but they also have expectations. This doesn’t mean become a pickme and try and fit a specific archetype to get one, but realize that high quality people want high quality partners. As someone who wants marriage and children, I take my partner’s intellect and ambition very seriously and expect them to have the same expectations because I want my children to have the best in life.

Yes! I knew a woman that was upper class who went in on the dynamics in the upper class world and how you’re judged severely if you don’t have an advanced degree. It’s normal for women in these settings to have PhDs because it shows that they are worldly and have the time and privilege of getting this kind of education. Most people don’t realize how hard it is to actually get into these circles and be taken seriously. It’s also why certain types of new money are stigmatized (i.e. musicians/artis…

It’s a lie LVM sell so that a) women don’t become bigger competition in the educational/working sphere and b) creates vulnerable women that rely on partnerships to be financially stable. I’ve never met an hv man that didn’t have a partner that was just as smart and ambitious as him. Doesn’t mean you have to go to an Ivy League and get a PhD but being well read and knowing what’s going on around the world goes a long way.

I just read through that post and OP is based af. All the men being stupid about not going on a date after being lightly ghosted for more than a day are stupid. They know they wouldn’t show up in that situation either but because OP made it clear that was a standard she held they immediately started fighting. Any semblance of boundaries to them is blasphemy because they feel entitled to any and all women.

That’s the thing about liberal feminism that bothers me so much. It’s so centered around being like men instead of being better than men. Men literally fuck children and animals. Why on god’s green earth would we want to be like that? It’s so reductionist and most liberal feminists don’t critically think about anything. They just see crass messaging and parrot it like sheep. No thoughts, head empty. It’s truly sad.

Yep it’s always projection. They say women will do anything for Chads and have no boundaries and grovel for them when that is exactly what they do when they have even a sniff at a super attractive woman. Men “simp” in private all the time. Why else do we all have crazy DM stories? Looks is all they care about because they don’t see us as human. They can’t imagine us turning down an attractive man because we actually care about the character of the people we interact with.

It’s crazy how much of the culture surrounding relationships and dating has changed in just a decade. I’m an older Gen Z so when I was a preteen/teen it was normal to praise men for doing the bare minimum and pickme behavior was rarely criticized if at all. Now I see so many women waking up to the reality of modern men/relationships and conversations around dumping men immediately for red flags. I always judge people by how they act when they think no one is looking. That’s one thing about narcissistic/abusive people that you can personally pinpoint. If they’re often dishonest about small things they definitely lack integrity. I have a very hard time being dishonest because I get riddled with guilt. I only ever do so with men because of survival. I don’t trust people that can easily lie/manipulate with ease.

The men who laugh at sexist/misogynistic jokes are cowards to me. The ones that don’t call out shitty behavior from their peers are cowards. That’s true. Women are a lot better at moving on than men. We do have lost loves but we’re still able to date and marry other men without taking out our past grievances on our partners. I feel like men are generally escapist because so many will hyper focus on one ex that they didn’t even like when they were with them. And instead of moving on and treating future partners correctly they choose to stay in the past and obsess over this made up fantasy.

I think what you’re looking for is Female Level Up Strategy. Unfortunately, dating men means being exposed to the worst behavior and warning other women who might not know of these tactics or behaviors yet. Yes the guy I dated didn’t look super wealthy but he dressed very well, on trend, and had a nice watch so you could see slight money signifiers. He was also European so culturally I guess the ostentatious thing wasn’t normal for him either. The fear of being seen as transactional is what keeps a lot of women in shit relationships where they aren’t allowed to ask for anything. I see this all the time when the topic of proposals and rings shows up. I’m unabashedly a gold digger now and I don’t care. I’ve seen and been in relationships where the man takes, takes, takes. Exactly and it’s also why LVM go for the meek, insecure woman who covers her body. They can tell if you’re insecure on either spectrum because they’re predators. The only way you can protect yourself is just being sure of your self and exuding confidence but even then, they’ll still try, but at least you’ll have protection.

Even the word classy has a specific connotation tied to a lot of problematic isms. I think women should present themselves how they want because you attract everything as a woman. And for the women dressing a certain way because of trauma, let them get through it instead of shaming. Modesty is a patriarchal model that won’t save women from being treated like second class humans.

You made it seem like you were going on a date with a stranger which is why there is so much confusion. The background is actually important because now the context makes a lot more sense. Sorry if I seemed harsh but if you had added that detail in your story, people wouldn’t be asking so many questions and making assumptions. It was also an important detail that you were friends with this man and knew him for a long time.

Honestly the standards she failed to uphold are not that hard to uphold. You don’t go to strangers houses for your own safety. Whatever to the coffee date part but FDS is not about coddling whatsoever. I don’t understand why people want us to be punching bags that just accept everyone when the message is clearly tough love. Lol I hate that you’re being downvoted for saying this. Men and women DO NOT handle mental health the same way. Just go through the horror stories on this sub and you’ll see. I wish we stopped being so sympathetic and started being realistic and pragmatic. Until men collectively get over their ego issues, willingly being with a man who has mental health issues will always be a gamble.

That’s the reason I stayed with my exes so long. At the time I thought they were worth it but I was slowly eroding overtime. Now that I have clarity of mind, I see that they were just doing the bare minimum and I thought I needed to hold on to that because other men don’t.

I know you want to believe this guy is HV but he is not. He wouldn’t have started something with you knowing he can’t commit if he was. Move on knowing that he was hoping you would stay without commitment and continue casually seeing you while entertaining other women. Just because he says one thing doesn’t mean it’s true, men love white lies. Him telling you something doesn’t mean it’s true. Don’t think you lost out on anything.

Every time, the boyfriend would make excuses at the 1-2 year mark. Suddenly they’re moving from apartment to apartment, lease to lease and still no sign of a ring. I can’t even think of one Disney fairytale that doesn’t include some form of coercion or manipulation. That’s what I was thinking. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was discrimination because the men I’ve seen allowed in the police academy have had worse problems. I get it and that’s why I clarified the difference between jobs that are boring aka accounting versus toxic careers in general. I’m glad you’re out of that situation now, but yes to me, sustaining a lifestyle that’ll make me happy is important as long as my job is a little more than bearable. I don’t need a job that’s super stimulating because it’s just a job at the end of the day, I don’t want it to be my life. I very much believe in doing what I need to do and clocking out.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/09/21 04:01 PM

I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree because I think money is very interconnected with mental health when living in a capitalistic society. I’d rather have a boring office job making twice as much because at least I could afford luxuries that can make me happy. That doesn’t mean staying in toxic work environments but that just means moving to a different company/department if the line of work isn’t inherently stressful.

In the US its very easy to be a cop. You don’t even need a degree and most don’t care about physical fitness as much as we want to believe. I’ve seen the most out of shape cops who are lazy and could careless about protecting their communities and avoiding doing paperwork. It’s not a very prestigious line of work. And on the mental health note, making significantly less, on the poverty line with a job more stressful physically and mentally than an office job, will effect your mental health much …

TW: Suicide attempt My second boyfriend was a porn addict. He was very misogynistic but hid it with his leftist/feminist identity. At first I thought I didn’t care about porn as long as we still had sex but 3 months into our relationship, we were already having sex once a week. He was 21 so it wasn’t an issue with age. Soon I realized he had a problem because he wasn’t tactful about the amount of times he would masturbate everyday. He did it 7 times one day and admitted to me that he was feeling…

You’ll probably have to vet a lot harder than the average woman because men are gold diggers. I personally wouldn’t really think of marriage if I was making more than a million a year for example, but I don’t think being partnered with a man that makes less than you is bad in that situation as long as you aren’t going to be legally obligated to him in some way if you end up breaking up.

It’s the same experience for me girl. I have no issue getting likes, matches, and dates on OLD but the apps that let you see the men that like you make me feel disgusting lol. I deleted hinge when I kept getting the ugliest, brokest men showing up in my likes. Why do they have so much audacity? And if they do match with someone who’s their looks match, they’ll offer something low effort thinking they’re too good for her and blame the algorithm when they’re just too ugly, delusional and low effor…

Of course high value does not equal high earner but one major tenant of FDS is only dating financially stable men. That means never considering men who make less than you because men cannot handle the ego bruise of not being the breadwinner and taking the chance because you believe he’s an HVM is not enough. Always, always, always date men who either make the same or more than you. Edit: also LVM exist in every field. I’m in tech and the types of men I’ve met haven’t been very different from the…

Yeah it’s the same scenario for me. I was on OLD for about 3 years on and off (between relationships) and I can only think of two dates that were truly horrible and even then they weren’t so bad that I wanted to escape. The best dates were always the most high effort and we talked for a while before the actual date and were excited for the date. Women are starting to take the approach LVM have which is dating is a numbers game when the focus should be on the quality of the people your meeting an…

I mean for me it was 5/10 but I’m really picky because I don’t like to waste my time. Even the date offers I would get I would reject some if I didn’t think I’d find the guy attractive in real life or if the venue was subpar. It’s more about quality than quantity to me because HVM are rare to begin with (especially on OLD which is why I don’t use it anymore) but if you’re looking to go on as many dates as possible than yeah accepting everything seems reasonable.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/09/21 04:23 PM

Nothing outside of interest really. If a guy was wanting to meet right away it would always be low effort date offers. Sometimes dinner but rarely. If a guy was asking me questions and we had a solid conversation for at least 48 hours, 9/10 it would be a dinner offer. It truly just depends on their intentions with you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/09/21 04:08 PM

I’m glad you saw point of view and that’s not too high of an expectation at all. When I still used OLD I would get dinner offers pretty often and I’m in my early twenties. I would think older men would have more game than the broke men in my age group lol.

The justification is always about feeling the need to escape but why would you want to go on a date with a man you feel you need to escape from anyway? Dates should be fun not a prison sentence. Also the phone call/FaceTime tells you everything you need to know so no need for a coffee date after that.

The girl below is absolutely right about the phone screen and coffee date thing and also sounds like you see dating as more of a chore than an opportunity to go on a nice date and be treated well by a man you’re attracted to. No date should feel like a business meeting and there are rarely any coffee places that have a romantic atmosphere. You shouldn’t be thinking about ways to escape and trudging through a 30 minute date. That’s what vetting is meant to avoid. Treating dating like an assault c…

This is why men on Reddit say they love being approached and women making the first move. It’s not because they find it more attractive but because it requires much less effort and manipulation. They also place all the burden on you since you did the asking.

It’s because they know exactly how other men feel about these women and they wouldn’t want to be on the other end of those thoughts. Sex work to them is just about using and abusing women because it’s their right.

I hate go with the flow culture so much because it contradicts everything society tells women. Somehow we’re supposed to be careful because you can’t trust men and if you’re not you deserve to be violated. At the same time, if we’re too selective, we’re no fun and prudes. Any man that thinks this way does not believe in women’s safety and thinks they are entitled to our trust.

No problem and yeah it’s annoying to see how much hypocrisy and misogyny is rampant in our lives. Even on Reddit you see it in dating forums. If a woman has a bf that’s clearly a porn addict or has some major red flag of a trait, they’re always told to communicate while for men they say dump her and have some standards. It’s jarring really but I’d rather be called a bitch than live a miserable life for some scrote’s approval.

Yes and that’s one thing my dad always taught me. If something is too hard but not benefiting you in any way, quit now. Quitting later will only drain and stress you unnecessarily. He never understood the obsession with suffering that American workers have because he observed pretty quickly that they never get rewarded for it. This definitely applies to relationships too because women are always told that suffering through it will result in something and in reality it never does.

Love this because a lot of men like to treat you like you’ve been dating for years to convince you you have a spark. Of course flirting is fun and being love bombed feels amazing but a man that treats you this way lacks boundaries from the get go. Real HVM would be careful around new people, just like us, because they wouldn’t want them to get the wrong impression or lead anyone on. People with healthy boundaries always treat strangers like strangers.

This explains why I’ve always hated the use of love as justification. It’s always felt so skeevy and manipulative because men rarely stay in challenging situations because of love. They also don’t marry for love either. It’s always women that do that. They let us use emotions to make terrible illogical decisions because how else could they get their claws in us.

FDS does not support Jordan Peterson libfem or not because he believes in forced monogamy and is the epitome of a misogynist. If you read any of the comments on this thread you would see that. Okay go ahead and explain my own post to me will ya. I know men are very capable of love because every boyfriend I had loved me. I could smell the sugar baby advice column shit from a mile away. The focus on youth and beauty is cute but no HVM would care about any of that. That’s the thing. Loving a man always requires lowering yourself in someway and I’m over it. “Oh he got you nothing for your birthday? At least he remembered, don’t you love him?” “Oh he got you a ring pop for your engagement? Just be glad he loves you so much he wants to commit to you.” See how much that sounds like pure hell? Constantly having to remind yourself that you love someone every time they disrespect or disappoint you. I would rather die alone.

They’ve been saying they hate us for decades but now that we have freedoms we’re supposed to believe they propose to us out of “love”? It’s the only thing they have against us now that we’re not being sold to them by our families. A majority of them still hold the same beliefs as they’re grandpas and fathers, but they’re forced to hide it because they know we will divorce and leave them. Believing a man loves you without tangible evidence through his actions and investment is naive.

That’s one of the failures of modern feminism. As much as we want to believe men and women are equal, socialization makes sure we’re not. Women put in work to better themselves and be good partners and parents while men do absolutely nothing. Then we’re left with a bunch of self sufficient women and man babies but we think we can fix this by going 50/50 and acting like we’re the same? Hell no. Women need to wake up and realize that these men are not on our level and need to be left behind.

It’s just virtue signaling on their end. They just want to feel better than someone, anyone. They’re so selfish that they don’t care how much they’re setting us back because the attention and male validation is worth more than women’s liberation.

We show love through gift giving so why can men get away with just telling us they love us? Why can’t they ever reciprocate. Very few men understand love outside of labor. That’s why it’s the only determiner for how a man feels about me. If he doesn’t do things for me consistently, he doesn’t love me. That’s why they are so lazy and low effort. They don’t Iove their wives/gfs and even if they did, they don’t love themselves enough to put in the effort to keep the people they love happy. Exactly, marriage is basically a business partnership. Anyone who tells you otherwise is delusional and a liar. She’s clinging onto the fact she loves him to appear noble but it’s very clear she made a bad decision. Any sensible man would wait until he’s financially comfortable to make such a serious decision because most divorces are about financial troubles. If anything, over time they wanted to spend more time with me and be as close to me as possible. Even when they were going through hard times they wouldn’t pull away and come to me for comfort. Too many dating coaches let men get away with this behavior because they feed women the scarcity mindset. They’d rather have their clients be in shitty emotionally abusive relationships becau…

I think they’ll just get more violent with time. Men are going to get more and more violent as they see women isolating themselves because they need us to feel powerful. That’s why the redpill movement began. As long as women have the financial and social privilege to leave shitty relationships, men will complain and threaten our lives. It’s their fault for basing so much of their power on our subjugation. They know without us they are basically nothing. Look at how many successful men used thei…

Any man that is adamant about 50/50 hates you. Notice how when they go out with their buddies they fight to pay the tab. They know providing is the masculine thing but they hate you so much they would care less about what you think of them and how you see them. If he’s 50/50, he’s using you because he feels he needs to settle since he can’t get any better. Trust once what he’s looking for comes along he’ll have no problems footing the bill.

LVM love violent men because not being abusive is seen as a green flag when that’s the bare minimum. Anytime you find yourself celebrating a men for treating you like a human being, stop. Raise the bar so he has to train to reach it.

I wonder the same too and sometimes think a lot of women gaslight themselves into thinking they don’t see most misogyny. It’s very exhausting to be aware of how misogynistic the world is and you really need thick skin. I think they’d rather see these men as an individual case than a a cultural theme. I’m very aware of this ideology because I’m black and many nonblack and sometimes black men like to remind black women that we are undesired because of racist hierarchies. These hierarchies are iden…

Lmao this ties to what someone posted earlier about men being coddled too much and becoming useless. They’re not mad that they don’t have “inherent” value, they’re just mad they can’t act like juvenile boys their whole life and still get the benefits of being a man I.e. wife, kids, career etc.

There’s no need to do this. Yes you’ll get less messages but that’s not gonna stop the manipulators or love bombers who are 10x worse than stupid fuckboys. It’s better to just let a man say his truth rather than let him know how to get closer to you.

Men have used liberal feminism as a cop out for their not wanting to get married and avoid accountability. How many pickmes have you heard saying they don’t believe in marriage? Too many and all of them are always in this situation. Exactly. I’ve been the “dream girl” for all of my longterm lv exes because I’ve always required they pay for everything and treat me like a princess. All of them mentioned wanting to marry me within 3-6 months and having an elaborate future with me. As much of an ego boost that was, they still sucked. There’s no benefit to being the dream girl with these men because at the end of the day they’re still lv and will only bring stress into your life, even to the women they do want.

I’m realizing the sheer difference in men and women’s attitudes towards sex and dating just sums up to women seeing men as people. We expect our partners to be multifaceted and expect them to treat us like humans. Men on the other hand just see us as objects to use. It’s why they take our rejection so badly. How can an object tell me no especially when society has told me all my life that object is mine and mine alone??

This is why I laugh when men cry about being ugly. They are so bad at being realistic and accepting reality because if they were raised like women they would’ve known they were ugly by the age of 7. Women are taught to be super hyper aware because our whole existence is meant to revolve around our beauty and usefulness while men are told to just be themselves and someone will love them for who they are. Yes it is entitlement and this entitlement is often coupled with hatred because these men hate women and will never respect them. It’s why so many will begrudgingly propose with a $100 ring and go and spend thousands on their gaming habits. They’re not happy, they’re complacent. There’s a big difference. And once again, there’s a difference between desiring and pursuing. One is action based and the other thought based. Many men tolerate women who put up with crap. Very few man are happily married or in relationships because they settled with the next woman they could get. Just because they “chose” that woman doesn’t mean they don’t desire other women. I think you’re missing the point that LVM only “commit” to these women as long as they need to. As soon as they have access to the type of woman they desire, they’re gone.

Sugar dating is the biggest scam. If real sex workers are saying it is than it definitely is. There’re so many women in that “industry” that lie to young and impressionable girls by saying technically it’s not sex work because you don’t have to sleep with them and there’ve been such arrangements. Oof this entire comment. It doesn’t sound fun at all. I was around more than enough women like that in college and all of them deep down wanted a meaningful relationship. I even see it on social media when they send their situationships nudes and they get “👍🏾” back and make passive aggressive jokes. It’s sad honestly. Exactly they use sex as a bargaining chip in hopes for a relationship and if it doesn’t go the way they hope they use sex positivity as a shield. I’ve seen so many women do it and then get surprised when they have the “what are we” talk and he’s not madly in love yet. It’s rinse and repeat until they become the exception. Then comes the resentment because they’ll have to do the sacrificing and changing for the rest of the partnership which will eventually lead to a dead bedroom or divorce. Edit:…

Yes, especially when it comes to martyrdom. There’re so many stories of the good girl that constantly gets abused and wins the gentleman at the end. What most pickmes don’t realize is the first part of the story is true but the rest is absolute fiction. The only trope I’ve seen to be true is the b*tch wife and the doting husband and that’s because those women are self preserving and have standards.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/08/21 03:52 PM

Yes it’s the foundation to being a pickme because we’re groomed to believe a good woman can change a man through all forms of media and culture. At times I feel sympathy especially for those trapped in abusive situations, but then there are the pickmes with major internalized misogyny that use this mentality to tear down other women and keep them down with them.

Exactly like living in the US means it won’t be hard to find a man taller than average but in Asia for example not so easy. Plus I’m around men who make around six figures most of the time because I went to college and my dad is in medicine so I have family connections. Pickme men to me are incels/redpill or the men who are faux male feminists that use feminist language to appear like a good guy and get women’s validation. With the incels/redpill it’s mixed because in the end they want female validation but they hate that they have no social capital under patriarchy so they project that onto the women they want validation from.

I always hate when they say that because even if they are happy, they’re the exception. It gives other women the idea that they will be the exception too so all the pickmes will start having sex on the first date in hopes they’ll have their happily ever after where instead they’ll be left hopeless and jaded because they’ll realize a majority of men are just looking to pump and dump.

The funny thing is women should be the ones with this attitude and not men. Men can fuck a pizza and still cum. This is pure manipulation because there’s no reason for them to need to test anything when they can cum from the worst sex. It’s all a lie to guilt you into sleeping with them. Any man that brings up sexual compatibility or love languages is dropped. That’s the biggest red flag.

I’ve seen so much defensiveness around it, but what you said is true, HVM don’t last long on OLD. Most want a woman they’ve connected with organically in real life and OLD is relatively new in comparison to every other form of dating. People used to meet through friends, family, and events in the past. OLD also gives you the illusion of choice and abundance when honestly a select populati…

I think I saw this exact post on the relationship sub a week ago. This man trying to seem like a good guy wasting his nice girlfriends time for 2 years all because he’s not “sexually attracted” to her. He also only listed the things she did for him as why he loves her. Never ever let a man in. They need to prove themselves from the start. They have no problem staying with women they can barely tolerate.

I just went to here tiktok and big surprise! She hates the term pickme and she is so understanding and sooo empathetic that she thinks it makes sense to passive aggressively ask for a rain check. You can tell she’s desperate from her tiktoks. She even asks for advice on how to make her profiles more appealing. I’ve noticed there’s always a type of energy these women have. Like major “I’m not like other girls” types vibes were they use their empathy and kindness to veil their pickme motives. They…

Remember when someone did a poll of the ages of the women on the this sub and more then 40% were 21-25 and they said we were lying? They really want to believe we’re just all and bitter and even then, what’s wrong with that? And the conversation on age? That girl is really lost and she’ll realize once her prefrontal cortex develops that she’s in a shit relationship with a man that took advantage of her youth. Her defending herself saying she’s a grown woman when she met him at 20 is enough to te…

In the comments she says it’s not to get the men back🙄 like okay sis. But mainly to stop the culture of ghosting and inconsiderate dating which I get kind of but you barely know the guy and he’s already in the process of ghosting you so why be the bigger person in that scenario?

Exactly like a lot of dating advice says if a man pulls away early you should let him come back because that’s “natural” when that’s a major red flag and is the next step in love bombing. It’s not normal for a man that’s crazy about you to just stop contacting you. That’s manipulation 101 but we’ve been conditioned to think its because he loves you too much or is overwhelmed by emotions. Spare me. If that is the truth I’d rather be with a secure man that can handle his emotions instead of runnin…

I like your flag analogy because a lot of women use the green flags to cover up for the red flags. There should be absolutely no red flags because red flags are “Stop do not pass GO” territory. You can never come back from a red flag.

I totally get that. It’s always good to stay positive and I understand why dating apps would be preferable for home bodies. I’m the opposite. I love being out and about and socializing so my preferred partner would be the same. I guess how you approach dating should be determined by your temperament so you can be surrounded by others compatible with you.

I’m sorry for the downvotes you’re getting but its feeling a little gaslighty to tell women that they’re just burnt out. I’m glad you found your HVM but as we’ve mentioned multiple times, it’s like winning the lottery. And with my personal experiences on OLD every reasonable man I’ve met just joined the apps and was not a fan of them so my personal conclusion is to just stick to real life. I’m sure he’s always been that selfish slightly but the wife probably wanted marriage badly so she dealt with it. Even if he is perfect you just never know. That’s why even after commitment you don’t put yourself in a position where you rely on him. So true on how men see you. I always wondered why they would always ask why such a beautiful, accomplished woman was on insert OLD site and now I realize it’s because they think any woman on these apps is easy or desperate. Yep, a lot of men like to pretend they want a bang maid but in actuality a lot of them want to be the patriarchal standard. They feel a lot of shame when they’re broke/undesirable. It’s why they leave their wives/forever girlfriends high and dry once they gain some sort of success. In their eyes, these women don’t deserve them at their best and they see them as a temporary maid/sex service until they reach their full potential. I would rather be the woman that a man knows he has to be successful…

This was me with two of my exes that I met through OLD. One ended up being a major porn addict who relied on 19 year old me for housing and food and the other a member of AA 5 years older than me and way behind in me in terms of accomplishments. Never felt proud to be seen with them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/08/21 01:24 PM

It’s also loads better in real life because you can gage your attraction level quickly as well as use your intuition to judge their demeanor. OLD is great for men who are creeps or weirdos because they can hide behind a screen and persuade women to go out with them. A majority of men I’ve met online were losers and guys I would never look at twice in real life. They also were too socially awkward to approach a woman in real life which is a red flag for me.

Oh god. Reading that made me feel sick. I hope she wakes up and leaves him. Men rarely change and the fact that they’re already cooling off is a red flag. It can take months to years for things to cool off if constant work is being done. It’s also telling that he always demanded her before realizing that maybe he should be a nice and considerate partner. He didn’t get to this conclusion until they almost got a divorce. Truly disturbing how selfish men can be.

There’s gonna be hordes of them in the streets after this pandemic because their forever girlfriends will be sick of being around them 24/7. This is why I’m steering clear of OLD because that’s the easiest way for them to create fake intimacy and have access to women that could potentially replace their ex. I’ve seen so many 7-10 year girlfriends talking about exit plans. So glad women are waking up.

I had to deal with this when I was 19 with my 22 year old ex. I didn’t want to be a housemaid at 19 so I would wait for him to clean since it was his turn. He would take days to finally do the dishes or fold the laundry. He was perfectly content living in his own filth. I would be the one to break because uncleanly spaces trigger my anxiety. I’m never moving in with a man again.

I swear men are so daft. He wrote this whole essay just to say your partner will be attracted to you if you act like you care about them. This shouldn’t be rocket science but since men only value us for our labor, it probably takes a lot for them to go from us being objects to suddenly human.

Yes to all of this, dating apps are a complete waste of time and any man I met who was decently normal would tell me he never used apps before and preferred real life. Any man that lives on dating apps is a red flag. I moved to a new city a year ago and have been on dating apps on and off and it’s the same men over and over. If they were truly desirable they wouldn’t on the apps like that since good men get snatched up quick unlike women who are surrounded by lvm. I truly believe a majority of t…

That’s why 50/50, low effort dates, and moving in before marriage are always the biggest deterrents for newbies. They don’t want to lose options. They’re so afraid of being alone that any standard that goes above the bar that’s in hell is seen as a threat to them. How else are they gonna get married and live their fairytale dream? Unfortunately, straight women have been gifted the shit stain that is men and because of that we need to vet for the rest of our lives. Skimping out on standards can a…

Most men are avoidant and would rather ignore their problems and pretend they don’t exist. It’s easier for them to pretend they’re over something then to go through the painful process of physically and emotionally moving on intentionally.

Lol love that you know exactly which vine I’m talking about. Same here but I just think tall men are less likely to have the insecurities that short men have. Men don’t know how to deal with insecurities at all and they’ll take it out on you instead of going to therapy and getting over it.

All of this. Women are constantly told not to care about looks. There’re so many couples that are attractive woman/unattractive man that it’s embarrassing. Men have it too easy and the ones that aren’t up to par despite that are embarrassing. There’re men who are also so delusional that they don’t see the girlfriends they consider average/below average are way out their league because they can’t process that they are ugly/undesirable.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/08/21 04:04 PM

Ugh hinge is another animal. Don’t even bother liking any profiles because they’ll think you’re gonna chase them and ask you to write the first message. Useless app with ugly ass men as per usual. And just scrolling through online advice for dating apps from men shows me their true intention. A lot of them see them as hookup apps. I stopped caring about the apps once I realized all the men use multiple apps and they have the same people. It’s redundant and pointless. Bumble is the worst out of all of them because it forces you to make the first move when we know men take what they can get. Bumble is the equivalent of approaching a man in real life so you’ll never know if you were his preference and easily get into forever girlfriend/situationship territory. Any woman who thinks bumble is the best option is delusional beca…

Look at how they treat men that women love for being attractive. It’s laughable that men who get recognized for appealing to the female gaze are considered gay or feminine. They have no problem stealing each other’s SOs either. Men are haters in general.

I used to have a few guy friends growing up and quickly noticed how much they love gossip and drama. And on the boy mom thing, the black community especially has this problem because there are so many moms that say their sons are their kings which is how we get men that think women should do everything in the household while they don’t provide or lift a finger. Now there’s more vocal black men who are becoming incels because they’re sad black women don’t want to deal with failed patriarchs.

It definitely feeds the scarcity mindset and is what causes women approaching their thirties to marry someone because they feel have no other options. It’s also why so many women waste their twenties as forever girlfriends to the guy they met in college. So many of my ex girlfriends got trapped this way and very few have even made it to an engagement.

I think it goes hand in hand. It’s 50% brainwashing but someone earlier in this thread mentioned how women joining the workforce in the 70s/80s caused the market to believe two income households can afford to pay higher on cost of living. We live in a society that grooms us into believing the dream is to have a nuclear family and white picket fence. A majority of women are coerced into cohabitation because a) they romanticize it based off media and their surrounding culture b) they see the benef…

All of this. It’s why when I’m dating I don’t consider race but instead how they treat me. Every time I’ve gone on a date with a nonblack man I get the worst looks from black men. I think it’s so funny now because growing up I preferred black men but they bullied that preference out of me. Now I don’t put them on a pedestal and rarely date black men not by choice but because they expect me to worship them and do all the work as soon as the first message is sent.

They’re projecting and trying to hurt your feelings by rejecting you in hopes that you’ll start chasing them. That’s an immediate red flag and tells me he’s a) emotionally unintelligent or b) he’s a manipulative asshole that uses negging techniques to trigger naive women. Luckily you saw through what he was doing.
