I kind of keep certain staples on a rotation based on what I'll be making. Like, I'll keep ground beef, sour cream, and cheese for tacos, nachos, chili, and anything else I could come up with for a couple of weeks at a time. I like to keep meat in the freezer, and use my instant pot to cook it because our dinners can be unpredictable at times. I made friends with a neighbor and she asked me to walk her dog once a day for $20/week! Easy peasy, and my toddler LOVES her dog! It's teaching him a lot about being gentle, which I love. I also looked into transcribing for Rev.com, and I really enjoyed it, but then the audio files became too long for me to do during my boy's naps. And now he's dropped a nap! If you have the time, and a good wpm, you can make some decent money! They also do captioning service if that's more your thing!

While it's a bit of an investment, having both an air fryer and an instant pot has dramatically saved meal times for me! The air fryer roasts veggies in a fraction of the time the oven does, especially frozen veggies. The instant pot gets me a perfect pot roast from frozen in about an hour. I grew up in a very masculine household, and there were many times I preferred to dress up as a boy. I was exclusively breastfeeding up until a couple of weeks ago, but my supply was dropping and my daughter wasn't getting enough to keep her full for more than 2 hours or so. I wasn't sleeping any longer than an hour at a time, and my nipples were literally bleeding. I started on 8/7 and I've lost 10 pounds already! I feel great and have more energy. I really love how it curbs my appetite! I was losing weight with just CICO, and while I lost the bulk of my weight, I started getting really hungry and unsatisfied with my meals and snacks. Thanks for the reply. We've tried so many different things. If I fall asleep before him, I'm ok until I wake up to nurse my LO or go to the bathroom :/ different sleeping positions don't work for him, I'm thinking it's a structural issue since he has a high palette. I also suspect sleep apnea as there have been a few times that it sounded like he stopped breathing and I had to jiggle him. I think a doctor visit is our next step!

I'm more comfortable having him in our room because he's under a year old still. When we're trying to sleep-train, he's alone in the bedroom in his crib and we have the ba y monitor on him. Once he's older, I'm more comfortable with having him in his own room.

Once he's asleep, I can wiggle away. The problem is that that used to work before he was mobile and we had a co-sleeper bassinet on the bed. I do think he's playing around, and I ask him if he's all done and sometimes he'll go back to nursing for a few seconds. Some fun things: Baby started crawling! It's so cute, he kinda drags himself along. Baby is now on solids, and I'm having a lot of fun making his food for him! With the sardines, I add dijon mustard. I have this deli-style mustard from Boar's Head that has horseradish in it, it's so great! I also add spices like garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. I was very intrigued by the concept, especially after seeing the trailer for the show. Amazon Prime has the Kindle book for free, so I decided to check it out. I used to, and I really enjoyed it. But at his new job, there are random lunch outings or caterings, and so it's difficult to prep meals. So, I've stopped making lunches and put more focus into planning dinners. We are somewhat isolated from family, my in-laws are about 45 minutes away. Not terribly far, but still a bit of a drive. It would be nice if my SIL could come by and hang. Any advice is appreciated in regards to stress management. Awesome, thanks for the tip! I had a soft nursing bra that fit when I was preggo, but got too small once my milk came in. I did get a clogged duct with a milk blister; I wasn't sure if it was from the bra or side-nursing (we bed-share). I haven't had a problem since stopping wearing the bra, I just layer a couple tanks. What I find interesting is that people can't understand these relationships in a marriage, but in the workplace it's totally normal. Bosses delegate work all of the time, you do your work so the boss can get their work done. You can share ideas with your boss, they might like them and use them, etc.! One great side effect of my pregnancy is it has made my hair grow more slowly and softer, and I don't have the same upper lip hair that I used to! I had heard about this, and was one of my main reasons to avoid hormonal birth control. I put up with a copper IUD and even though it made my symptoms worse because I didn't want anything to affect my hormones. Honestly, what is the freaking point of getting married and creating a family if you won't have the same last name? I can understand keeping your maiden name for professional reasons - my aunt is a dentist and established her practice with her maiden name, but she still legally changed her last name to her husband's. Drink at least a few bottles of water a day. I made a goal to drink 2 quarts of water a day at least, and I found what really helped me reach my goal was drinking through a straw. I don't know what it is, but I feel like I can drink more, and it also feels easier to drink when I'm using a straw. Just thought I'd share :)

I tried Pete's Paleo a few weeks back. The food was delicious and gave me some great ideas for the future. I'm a pretty willful eater, though, so I found that some of the food included in the plan(certain veggies) went uneaten because I didn't care for them. I liked Pete's because everything was pre-cooked, you just had to reheat it. Easy-peasy! It really came in handy on days where I was super exhausted. And everything is good quality, healthy, and balanced - so no guilt! :)

I learned this the hard way. Any time I would vent or confide in my mom something about my husband that had annoyed me, she would parrot it right back when he was around. I like to get my honey some hot and sour soup. He finds that the spiciness really helps to clear his sinuses. I love making lunch for my husband. He gets so busy at work, sometimes he just doesn't have the time to go out and get something to eat if I don't make him anything, and I just can't bear the thought of him being hungry while he's working. Especially lately, we've been sharing one car, so I drop him off in the morning. He doesn't have very many options to eat lunch outside of work since he can't drive. I love knowing that he's eating something that I made for him with love.

I agree. I even go out of my way to make sure my husband gets alone time. If he's had a long week and hadn't gotten much alone time, I'll take some time to get shopping done, or visit a friend for a while so that he can decompress.

Not at all. I left my beta ex for someone more alpha, and now my ex disgusts me. I can't imagine how I was able to love him and sex him up. I despise him and he makes me sick to my stomach if I think about him. I'm very ashamed of the relationship that I had with him. I got accustomed to calling things "retarded", and I didn't like using it, but found the habit difficult to break. If I catch myself starting to say it, I'll try to say "ridiculous" instead. It's easier to have a similar word to switch to, so I stick to that.

I can understand with a name like Butkiss; what a name(especially being an elementary school teacher, I can just hear the children laughing)! The potential last names for the ladies I know are all really nice names; I think they're crazy for keeping their original name! You sound similar to me! I'm very bouncy, and I tend to squeal and chitter enthusiastically, which my husband tells me he loves. I love when my husband tucks me in at night. It just doesn't feel right when he doesn't. He was out on a business trip for a week a while back(our first week apart), and sometimes I couldn't even make it to the bed, and I slept on the couch!
