Did it for nearly 6 months but it didn’t suit me (I’m extremely active), i ended up losing weight and my exercise progress either stalled or went backwards.

I do know it works for a lot of people though, all depends on your lifestyle, activity levels, and how well you can handle permanent dietary restrictions.

Edit: there is a keto subreddit which was really helpful when I did it!

We eat keto-ish. Definitely some cheat meals, but most of the time we are low carb. I love how it makes me feel!

Yes, it works pretty well in terms of cooking the same meals for me + my larger husband - I'll make steak/curry/whatever and serve it with rice/pasta for him.

I started on 8/7 and I've lost 10 pounds already!

I feel great and have more energy. I really love how it curbs my appetite! I was losing weight with just CICO, and while I lost the bulk of my weight, I started getting really hungry and unsatisfied with my meals and snacks. Keto is more satisfying, and it's much easier to keep to my calorie limit.

Slowly getting back into it and I noticed when I am completely no processed carbs my face is incredibly defined and not bloated. Win!!!

I did the Whole30, which is basically Keto on steroids. I've also done Keto for a while. From what I've gathered, it's great for people who have a predominantly sedentary lifestyle, but if you're highly active (i.e. training for a marathon, lifting weights, backpacking, etc.) then you're going to stunt your progress and feel miserable.

Ive tried it and lasted about 3 days? On strict keto. It was HARD as I barely eat meat to begin with. I did notice on day 1 my energy levels were a bit better so while I dont count my calories (I'm at a good weight) I am more conscious of my sugar & carb intake now.

I've been eating paleo since feb 2013, very similar to Keto/LCHF.
