Harsh. That got me on a dystopic train of thought that someday women are going to insist their sexual partners volunteer DNA to unsolved rape kit testing to prove they aren't rapists. lol

I'm not familiar with that book but my assumption is that it's similar to the Mayo one since it seems to be from PHS. There are five or so highly recommended books in the US and I had to actually try to read them before I decided which I hated and liked. US medicine is a bit of a mess because patients sometimes are given too many options (and pregnancy is one of those) so maybe single payer isn't as idiotic. Dunno You want a book that is comprehensive, medicine and science based but most importa…

I don't get it. You say you're here because you saw something on the front-page and then read the words "beta bitch"? Did I miss something? Why are you here? What problem are you trying to solve? FOMO? Pook is academic for now. Stick with WISNIFG. If you're not suffering I'd not read much more than the three prequisites until things calm down (infant and mother both sleep through the night).

Good example. I would be furious, livid and vicious (but not forever). Although in some respect this also is a powerlessness in having to rely on expert opinions. The best shot at a non-powerlessness one I can come up with is my wife's"hanger" but I think there's also a powerlessness angle to that too--she would have eaten already if it were possible.

Maybe the fact that nobody finds anything worthy of debate in your shitpost throwaway sentence says more about your ability to engage in the debate you want to see than it does anything else. Why you think anyone should spend more effort debunking your shit than you are willing to offer in defense of it is beyond me.

Can't make a case? Appeal to authority. Got it. You're both a troll and a tool. I doubt you could even proof yeast.
/r/MarriedRedPill27/05/16 06:05 PM
5

How is doing "exactly what they thought their women wanted" even remotely admissible as evidence of "an equal and loving relationship based on trust and communication"? It may get you a sexless marriage, but sexless is different than destroyed. And to further pick nits, how is "many thousands of men" even supposed to be statistically notable (beyond the fact that you pulled the number out of your troll ass and can't order-of-magnitude properly)?
/r/MarriedRedPill27/05/16 05:25 PM
5

Just because it "may" be angry, doesn't make it correct. an equal and loving relationship based on trust and communication will get you living in your car with some ex con raising your kids Burden of proof is on you, concern troll. Make your case or you are not capable of debate.
/r/MarriedRedPill27/05/16 05:08 PM
5

What the fuck are you still bitching about? Do you dispute that the sentence actually was angry? No, you do not. You have zero factual basis for debate. Zero. STFU. If you don't want your sentences to be correctly identified as angry either (1) stop posting or (2) stop giving a shit when people correctly interpret what you write. You're right. FearDearg is handling this like a big boy. Take notes.
/r/MarriedRedPill27/05/16 04:58 PM
5

Why does it matter that others correctly recognize the anger in those words you wrote? This doesn't even seem to be a misunderstanding--you don't even attempt to dispute that those words encode your anger (instead you defend the validity of anger). And now you're moving the goal posts to discussing disrespect. Rule 1. Don't disrespect mods.

No, I think the essence that a lot of us see from you and others in TRP is that you are obsessively focused on identifying any hint of shame and guilt. And rather than learning how to emotionally process shame and guilt you attack those who you believe are the sources of shame and guilt. You couple this with defining shame as an exclusively feminist tactic. The reality is that accusing others of shaming you is yet another attempt to shame others into treating you like a woman rather than a man. …

Have you ever played chess angry against someone who's not angry? It only works in blitz and even then only sometimes. Playing hypermodern was one of my favorites because it often made my booksmart opponents very angry very quickly. Angry people are impulsive.
/r/MarriedRedPill27/05/16 01:23 PM
5

One interesting angle to all this is that there's a very strong argument that it's a direct outgrowth of men treating women as children--it's cruel to punish children as severely as you would punish an adult.

Sounds like a plan. I assume you're just engaged at this point and planning for the future. What I'd do is get the prenup drafted with a section in invisible ink. This way your wife will sign it covertly. Be sure to get her to initial every page. Dramatically unveiling the invisible ink outlining all her failings will be quite satisfying when you reach the "fuck you or fuck me" stage of dread. If you craft it well then even before you reach that stage you'll be able to reveal individual clauses …

In my very abstract way of thinking about these things, testing a boundary is a form of disrespecting the boundary. To clarify: disrespect in my mind is broader and varies in severity more than some people might perceive the word "disrespect" to be. I think disrespect can be harmless or playful or accidental or intentional or aggressive etc.

I agree it can help with sanity. Back when I was reading deadbedrooms closely I was in a sort of fog and found it very easy to convince myself that my life was as bad as what I was reading about there. I ended up doing some tracking (with the intent of confronting my wife about it--because I'm a moron) and that woke me up a bit when I realized it really wasn't so bad. Hard data can be very grounding at times--it makes it more difficult to gaslight yourself. ;) There's a difference between keepin…

So what you're saying is you redirect her disrespect at her insecurities as a diversion and then resolve the diversion using comfort. Interesting. I sort of see how that dynamic might work, but it's too eye-for-an-eye for my style. Do you think this indirect approach resolves the disrespect? Another way of looking at it is that rather than not tolerate her "abusive behavior", you instead summon your own "abusive behavior" and play war. I would think she learns to fear your attack the same way a …

Hmm. I don't see how that happens, but maybe I think too abstractly about this. In my mind shit test are expressions of disrespect. Comfort tests are expressions of insecurity. I guess insecurity could lead to expression of disrespect? It sounds like you're getting insecurity and disrespect simultaneously? That doesn't sound like a vote of confidence. I would also worry about reinforcing the idea that disrespect earns comfort.

Her: You don't have to be aggressive when I try to talk to you. Me: You aren't talking you are screaming at me. Derailed immediately IMHO. You should have addressed, explored and defused the accusation of aggression directly (WISNIFG inquiry techniques) rather than accept, dig in and attempt to justify the aggression. If she wants to fight with you make her work for it. Her: You don't have to be aggressive when I try to talk to you. Me: I won't be aggressive. What's up? I find that my wife quick…

Having only read the submission title I expected the article was going to be about the dual mating strategies and address how women tend to settle down with beta guys (or at least that's what they say they want to do) but secretly crave the exciting alphas. Which is very interesting, but... also slightly different fro…

No one I know of is saying you are an idiot or a weakling because you're married. Only that you made a bad move that put you in a bad position, which younger men should avoid. What others think of me doesn't concern me nearly as much as you think. I keep seeing this projection in replies from you and others so perhaps this is a collective insecurity of TRP's demographics. So there's not an official childfree stance? How do the obligations and rights of the father (financial, access, custody, etc) compare if he's married vs divorced vs unmarried? u/NeoReactionsafe and others suggest that the comparison between divorced and unmarried is a distinction without a difference once kids are involved. From what I can tell the only real difference seems to be that lawyers are involved up front at birth in LTR vs at divorce in marriage (same outcomes)?

I acknowledge that people under thirty are sane and have a point and I pity the young men on TRP. Now try actually addressing the issue rather than talking about wanting to address the issue. Assuming you have anything substantive to say, which at this point it is abundantly clear that you do not. I made some edits while you were replying to explain more about TheFamilyAlpha situation. It seems to me the divide between older and younger generations has always existed. I don't think that's new. "Never trust anyone older than 30" is ancient. But as you get older and see the next generation you realize nothing they complain about is actually new. What's your opinion on u/TheFamilyAlpha and his role as a model for RP marriage where the man desires to be extensively involved in raising his children an a RP-aware manner? Frankly, he seems like the sort of hero you are seeking for reestablishing male heritage. It seems hypocritical to bemoan the lack of positive male role models and to disapprove of him. DEVI is described in Sex God Method. It's a model for analyzing sexual encounters in terms of Dominance, Emotion, Variety and Immersion axes. You basically rate encounters with subscores on those terms. They don't all need to be in play or maximized in the same encounter--it's a framework for analysis.

I've arrived at the conclusion that "Own Your Shit" is a feature of MRP, not of TRP. Lord knows RPS can't, it's a never-ending shoveling of blame and victim complex house of cards with him. Pretty pathetic specimen, honestly. Actually, I'm inclined now to go find any of his content on the sidebar and actively unlearn it. Clearly it's cautionary.

The fact that he notices its absence means... it never existed? Before MRP my marriage was a tangled mess of covert contracts and egg-shells for both me and my wife. I didn't get a lot out of NMMNG in terms of action plans, but WISNIFG was an earth-shattering epiphany and I've put a lot of effort into improving direct and honest communication with my wife (in addition to establishing boundaries of course). And she's become more and more emotionally supportive of me as a result (and vice versa). …
/r/MarriedRedPill04/05/16 08:15 PM

I don't see it that way. Your advice is that he needs to keep doing what he's doing but augment it with additional emotional support. In my view that's just making more work for himself. She fears disappointing him. The fear is the problem and you have to fix it at the source. Fear is not the kind of respect we want. How do we fix a nagging wife?
/r/MarriedRedPill04/05/16 07:47 PM

Egg-shells are a symptom of passive aggressive dynamics. He needs to hunt them down and eliminate them and it takes a lot of time. Read or reread WISNIFG. Basically her responses are that she's avoiding his nagging.

One thing that has helped me immensely in the last few weeks with keeping frame when the monkeys are doing what they do is for me to switch from expecting myself to be their "dad" and instead expect myself to be their "teacher". It's not "changing your mind" to acknowledge that vasectomy is not something you want because you're unsure whether you want to have more kids. That's just self-awareness. I am sure I don't want to have any more kids. Review the prime assertive right. ;)

You should read about and internalize the dual control model. It's the science behind the "be attractive, don't be unattractive" advice. Worrying about unplanned and unwanted pregnancy is a turn off for both men and women.
/r/askMRP28/04/16 05:23 PM

Dread is a hamster function. Hamsters are not subconscious processes. And you're completely and entirely correct about this: If a 25 year old girl starts flirting with me, my wife isn't going to say "oh, she probably wants kids, he doesn't, nothing to worry about."
/r/askMRP28/04/16 05:03 PM
1

I'm not criticizing the method. What I'm asking is why would the lizard brain care between knowing that she's infertile or he's sterile? In both cases she's engaging in sexual activity with the knowledge that pregnancy will not happen.
/r/askMRP28/04/16 04:54 PM

Yup. It's always easier to fill her glass if you have liquid metal or articulating joints in your frame. If you'd consider having more kids, don't have a vasectomy. Simple.
/r/askMRP28/04/16 04:45 PM
2

Bullshit. If you don't want to have any more kids, you're not reducing any of your options. You're focusing your message. Were I to pursue another woman it would have absolutely nothing to do with some unmet need to spawn another family and my wife knows it. Dread is a credible anxiety that the relationship will end.

What sort of idiot husband goes around trying to dread their wife that they're fathering children? Dread is about exercising your relationship power over commitment. If your wife fears the old "whoops I knocked up the babysitter" it's because she fundamentally thinks you're an incompetent retard who can't even manage to roll on a condom or enjoy a blowjob.

Done it. Love it. I had complications--painful sperm granulomas that took ~9mos to clear. Nevertheless I would 100% do it again. Wife loves not being on BC and not using condoms. If you're certain you don't want kids, a vasectomy is a pretty non-negotiable hard limit. If you're ever dating again, some women want kids, some don't. Sterility only matters for a LTR and vasectomy is a quick way to filter LTR compatibility. I can't think of any reason vasectomy would have any believable impact on evo…

My curiosity is pretty narrowly focused on whether the relationship with the State is substantively any different when divorced vs out-of-wedlock in terms of financial obligations/visitation/child support etc and the tradeoffs involved. Is there some way that the paper contract makes your relationship better than my paperless relationship? The reality is if you're unmarried and you want kids in your life you're pretty much going to have to swallow the Marriage 2.0 risks anyway. A lot of things particularly about paternal rights with kids are automatic in marriage that you're going to have to fight very, very hard with lawyers to negotiate to even hope to reach parity (particularly if separation happens).

For whatever reason the typical married man derives some sort of benefit from marriage that the typical unmarried man does not. There are mountains of potential explanations for this finding. Isn't vasectomy reversal practically impossible with the vasectomy techniques they use lately (i.e. last decade or so)? It's the older vasectomy methods that even have a chance at reversal, but those older methods also had much higher recanalization failure rates. The epidemiologic stats for reversal "success" haven't caught up with current practice and mostly cover the obsolete methods. Also, natural pregnancy isn't the outcome they measure for reversal "success"--they measure presence of any sp…

Hamsters love context--it's malleable and subjective. But I can't find any way this context would alter what I've already written. Your wife reflects you--if you sow bitchy, passive aggressive and undermining, you're going to reap bitchy, passive aggressive and undermining. Look, I don't want to project, but I can sort of relate. In the past my wife would complain about the clothes I pick for my girls so I avoided it only to avoid the nagging. But... her not liking the clothes I pick isn't my pr…

If you had gone in to get him dressed and noticed the clothes were not selected, that was the time to take corrective action. You could have notified your wife that you were not going to dress him, or you could have dressed him how you saw fit. You saw a train headed for derailment and rather than be moved to acta, you gleefully baked popcorn like a bitch for some later verba. You: …

What I'm trying to say is this rift is extremely confusing and the confusion leads to all sorts of questions. It's like saying there are two camps for interpreting the implications of gravity. I was reading that forum back when I first discovered MRP and was pondering swallowing the pill. At one point I was wondering about the whole dread leading to sex thing because it seemed pretty dumb to me at the time. I found a lot of parallels between what they call "hysterical bonding" (hysterical in the original sense... i.e. uterus bonding) and dread game. The idea with hysterical bonding is to use very frequent sex to restore the wayward partner's commitment--they have this idea that freque…

Sort of tangential, but has anyone heard of "hysterical bonding" anywhere except in the context of recovering from infidelity? At one point I got to reading a thread there and the term came up and I wanted more info because... well it's an interesting concept but you'd want to know if it has any root in reality. And if it does it must apply outside of infidelity recovery. But I wasn't able to find it in any other contexts. Is that a "thing" or some sort of wishful thinking?

Here’s an idea, let your kid choose. Let your girl tell you if she is in to science or glitter and support her either way. Same thing with boys, my son is into sports – if he was into the clarinet I’d support that too. You can really take that way, way too far. Gender roles are not genetic.
