I'm on the journey, lifting, reading and passing shit tests hard core. Dead bedroom for 8 months. I had a great day yesterday passing huge tests keeping calm, lots of AM. Wife experiencing nice amount of dread after seeing a pic of me with my closest coworkers, all female, with me looking the best I've looked in years. She makes little jealous comments it was great. As usual, I showered before bed, made myself presentable as I always do to initiate, good little bit of cologne, trim, etc. I've never stopped initiating but after dozens of turn downs, I became complacent, I initiate expecting rejection. To my shock, she didn't push me away, so I go to working her breasts. She turn to me and says, "ok what are you going to do now?" So I go go beast mode and she's enjoying it from the sound of it. When I try to kiss her I realize she's turned her head sideways, and basically star fishing. I continue to go and I'm giving her a good pounding but I feel myself just not feeling it anymore. I don't know of it was the surprise of her saying yes, the star fish or just anxiety from her words or all of it. So I turn her over strongly, she's surprised I can tell and I start going again but I'm just not feeling it. I completely lose it, I wasn't really ready for a yes. I've never had that happen before but I go completely limp. I'm shocked as my libido is always strong. For a moment she thinks I came but then realized I didn't. I didn't know what to say. I realized at that moment that on top of everything else that was probably affecting me I suddenly felt fucking nostalgia and melancholy. I'm such a fucking pussy seriously all I felt at that moment was that I missed my wife, the good times, being close in general and how fucking lonely it is being the only one seeking those things in the relationship. But I have to accept that, I'm alone and the only one responsible for my well being. I want to fuck as much as ever, but I don't want to just fuck. In some ways it was a huge breakthrough at first but now I have no clue where we are and she doesn't seem to care. She said nothing nor seemed to care. No, I don't want sympathy nor encouragement. I just realized being prepared mentally involves much more than just mindlessly following a routine. I need to be fully immersed in what I'm doing and not fall into a mechanical routine. I've no idea what happened to me but I'm ready to face it.

Tldr- I get laid after 8 months but can't keep it up. Realize I'm a huge fucking pussy and loser and have way more ground to cover than I ever thought.
