ITT: differing opinions on what TRP is... The Red Pill: Discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men. It's really that simple. Everything else is just personal baggage.

Only when saying your name? Just call yourself AJ then who cares? Having a full on stutter is like a man being short. You can say, "If they don't accept you it's their problem." all you want, but it's not going to change that short dudes have to work a bit harder and so would someone with a stutter.

If you walk up to a woman with your hands in your pockets and mumble with a shaky nasaly voice, "I...I just thought...Hi, I'm CyberSpider...I just thought you were really beautiful, can I have your number?" most likely she will not be interested and when you look back on your actions you will not be interested in yourself either. For some it may come naturally, but most have to work on themselves. Some start young, some start when they are 40. It's about asking what does and doesn't work and why…

The objective of 'game' isn't just to get into a woman's pants. Game is not a hat you wear. You don't put on your "GAME" hat and go fuck women. Game is more akin to the knowledge that comes with self-improvement and rational observation. As you grow, you'll start to realize that your techniques and attitudes have changed. Not only based on what works and what doesn't, but what works for you as an individual. Even just getting to know women as a beta is a difficult task for most. It can feel pret…

If you don't play the game, it won't stop others from playing you. Like the commenter said, this is outside of men/women. You either hold court, or get moved around like a pawn. While it's possible to be a jester, it's a dangerous position to be in.

All you gotta do is work on yourself. It's really not that hard. Just put in a little work each day. At first it will seem pointless, fruitless, and it will feel like a waste of time. It will feel like the amount of work you need to do is insurmountable. But I promise you if you keep going, if you just put in a little work each day the whole time it will feel like you are going no where but one day you will stop and look back and realize you have traversed mountains. It doesn't matter if other p…

Male mentors have been killed by the lie that men are sex-starved beasts and pedophiles. Do you see people advertising for male nannies? How about male roommates when they have children, boys or girls? I used to work in a grocery store, started when I was 18. At first I loved kids, it was hilarious to me. It would really brighten my day giving kids balloons and stickers and shit because they would act like you just handed them the coolest thing in the world. Soon enough I realized all the dirty …

It will pass, trust me. It's much better to see the world for what it is, than to believe it's something else and be constantly disappointed when things don't go your way. You have taken no losses from seeing the truth. Clean yourself up, and be strong. Make every day a non-zero day, and there is only one way you can go from here.

No one says, "Be an asshole" and that is the biggest misconception about TRP. It's more along the lines of, "Respect yourself first, and don't put up with other peoples bullshit". There is a line you can cross. No one on TRP posts about treating women like shit and gets upvoted and praised. Sexual success for men isn't just about getting your dick wet, it's about success everywhere. Many come to TRP looking for a way to attract women, and leave realizing that what they were doing before was sick…

Those things work, but no one says "THIS IS WHAT YOU MUST DO". Negging is pretty damn old school at this point, and has been given a pretty dirty connotation and definition. Now it's kinda the same thing as dread game, where you insult a woman as if it's supposed to make her attracted to you. Originally it was meant as a defensive play. Sometimes women act like they are above you, because they seem to want men to prove themselves or compete with each other. A "negg" was designed to knock a woman…

Oh no, that's very true. And I would actually argue that there are a percentage of men who are attracted to bitches. It's just that studies have shown that men in general are more attracted to physical appearance, while women are more attracted to traits like confidence. Assholes have traits that are similar to confidence. Many women are looking for confident, strong, capable, credible men. Assholes usually have those traits, or can fake them. I don't think it's that women are attracted to assho…

There are many women out there who when given a choice date assholes, for whatever reason they find them more attractive than other options. There are many women who will have fun dating while they are young claiming they have more fun dating assholes or dangerous guys, but one day settle down with someone who is more of a father figure in order to raise a family. While assholes are attractive, you don't have to be an asshole in order to be attractive to women. No where in TRP do they advocate you must be an asshole, and not be kind. They do suggest you should be driven, successful, confident, have a skill set, be interesting, have self-respect and show qualities of leadership and resilience. It just so happens that many assholes are arrogant enough to have these traits, or at least to fake it. Someone once said to me, "You know the difference between an …

Think for yourself. Question everything. You don't want to internalize a belief system as much as you want to learn from the experiences of others and compare them to your own experience. Peer review. Look at the truth, not the shadows others try to show you. That being said, there are many around here with similar experiences and there is a lot you can learn. Like /u/etcomro said, "Wake up everyday with the sole purpose of impressing the guy you stare at in the mirror."

Well, I have not conducted any studies, and finding ones already done isn't easy. I already said: Biologically, women do go through monthly periods, pms, pregnancy and menopause which have been known to bring emotional storms. Not to mention women have increased levels of estrogen. Men are not immune to emotional issues of course, it's just not as ingrained in their biology. Furthermore, ask any engineer about how many women are in their field. How many men are in human resources? Caregiving? I …

Keep in mind, these are my experiences. We would all like to say that overweight people are the same as everyone else, but if you talk to them you'll quickly find how different their experiences and struggles in life are from someone who is really attractive. "If you are not playing the game you are losing...the best game is to have no game." Yeah, didn't make sense to me either at first I'll try to explain my take on it. If you don't play the game, you are losing. I think this means that if you…

You need to understand the sources of these behaviors to really understand the results and whether or not they are "moral". They talk about women playing games and manipulating them and then base their entire sexual philosophy around doing the same. In theory, women play games and manipulate because they are much more emotional, on average, then men while men are more logical and decisive, on average. They test you because they don't want a bitch ass man. I feel that mens "game" is really just a…

I too have not even owned a TV for about 10 years now. The changes have been staggering, especially after taking trp. Everything is so sensationalized, and it's noticeable in the people I meet. I cannot explain to men how hard it is being a woman trying to play it cool in an industry of men. I want everyone to think I’m cool and relaxed so I try and just play by their rules. That's why. I don't think men who check out women are bizarre. Just because a woman is hot, doesn't mean she has power over anyone except betas, or those who just want to fuck. If all we wanted was good looks, we could get an even hotter prostitute for less money than a few dates who is down to get peed on. I think it would be better to focus on ourselves, raise our own value instead of trying to devalue a womans sexuality by ignoring it. What man approaches women they do not find attractive? at least our desire for sex is biological and many of us spent our lives being demonized for it. I choose who to fuck, and I have strict guidelines that determine who I spend my time with. an approach is an approach no matter the context. When I meet a woman, I let her know if I'm attracted instantly through my body language, eye contact, smile, kino, etc. If I approach a woman under the context of customer/clerk, artist/art enthusiast, or as just friends and I am attracted but don't show it because I'm nervous she will spot that. You may be different, but I think most guys feel attraction as soon as they see an attractive woman and his actions, decisions, and behavior will change…

Is it any different for you when you're in your element? You're telling me that you prefer to do things when they won't be resistant, and that one way is by approaching women while you worked at borders? Insulting someone is no way to begin a counter argument. Cold approach is not a requirement, but being able to overcome AA is. By approach, I don't mean cold approach, I just mean talking to people, talking to women without being consumed by "AA".

I agree until you meet in person attraction is not a given; however, this fact is way counteracted by the number of women who engage you in real life who are not interested or attracted but play along anyways I don't let women play along, I make my intentions very clear from the moment we start talking. I know enough about online dating to know that it's just as much of a competition as it is in real life, unless you're messaging 6s and below who don't get approached in real life and have to adv…

I think cold approaches are often misunderstood as saying something like, "You were just really beautiful I would kick myself later for not introducing myself." While those approaches may work some of the time, I think the trick is sincerity. Don't just give out a canned line. I wouldn't just approach a woman because she is hot either. Why the fuck does she deserve me approaching her, because she is hot? I don't think so. If I just wanted to bang hot chicks with nothing else going for them I wou…

You say you meet women in real life as well, and if that is true than I think you'll agree with me when I say the attraction that happens while making eye contact is powerful. I don't think you're going to be able to find that attraction with everyone you meet in online dating. So to me, unless you are closing as many women online as you would going out, it's pointless as anything other than a supplemental way to attract women. I can go out and approach as many women as I can, and a percentage o…

I don't think anyone is moral. Not only that but everyone has a different set of morals. I don't try to game specific types of women. I game all women, and continue interactions with the ones I share a mutual attraction with. If they don't respond to me in a way I enjoy, I don't give a fuck and move on without flinching. I'll chase ones that give me iois, but if they push away my advances I'm not going to waste my time and energy.

Outcome independence means that you do things without worrying about the outcome. In seduction it could mean that while you approach you won't let it effect you if you get rejected, that you are an unmovable rock who is in control of their emotions, you are unshakable. It could mean that you won't let it effect you if the girl you've been dating decides she isn't that into you. It means that you will not panic if things stop going your way, you will be strong and roll with the punches. It is imp…

What does wanting to fuck all day, every day have to do with being faithful? Regardless of my opinion about the article, it seems to be about faithfulness, monogamy, and promiscuity, not sex drive. It's one thing to want to fuck lots of people, it's another to do that while claiming to be faithful and monogamous.

This is a good a place as any so here goes. Walked into the break room at work to hear 2 women talking to an alpha coworker of mine about how they make out all the time. The younger one leaves the room as soon as I get there, the older woman stays and keeps talking about all the guys she has made out with or slept with. She then asks me, "So, hobodick, when are we going to make out?" I simply said, "No thanks." and continued to read the newspaper. She went into hamster overdrive as I said nothin…

You don't have power of whether or not you are happy...but you have a choice about how to cope with what comes up in your life. You have a choice to settle for what you have, but are we here in seddit to settle with what we have, or are we here to learn how to attract women (or men)? Learning to settle for what you have is not utilizing the law of attraction, if it were not bs. You can't avoid all unhappiness because you only attract positivity. I try to attract the idea that you fail and I win. My point is, how does the law of attraction work if there are two people trying to attract conflicting ideas? Is it a matter of whose faith is stronger? Does it matter if you're trying to attract something that is viewed as negative? If you attract a goal in your thoughts, and take action towards your goal, does it increase the chances of success or actualization of your dream? You can attract all you want, but without taking action you will get…

Why would man do all that shit, create laws etc, to supress a womans sexual power? I can get a hooker with as much sexual power as beyonce for $100. So if I refuse to be controlled by the "sexual power" of a woman, where does her power lie? I think most men wanted intimacy, until they looked beyond a woman's "sexual power".

All we can do is make maps of what we can experience, what we can measure. "The red pill" means acknowledging the truth of reality, for whatever it is. While many here are naturals at dealing with people, and attracting women, many here use "the red pill" because they feel for most of their life they believed one thing, and through some series of events, found themselves here believing something entirely different. They awoke to the system that is human sexuality, and how it effects the individual, society, economics, and reaches into almost every facet of human life. …

I feel like Copernicus. The people believed the universe moved around the earth, and they had a mathematical system to predict where the planets were headed. It wasn't 100% accurate, and deviations were ascribed to supernatural phenomena. Copernicus realized that the planets moved around the sun, and all of a sudden everything fell into place and his system was more accurate. Things could be predicted, and it helped lead us into the scientific revolution.

The difference between a normal man and an alpha is what he does, and how he thinks. What exactly are you asking? You want to know what an alpha is, not what he does. An alpha is defined by what he does. Aside from that, an alpha is just a man. I think there are a few ideas for what makes an alpha, one version of an alpha is a man who can get laid a shit ton. Another version of an alpha is a mgtow, who has dominance or a aura of superiority not because of how much puss he crushes nightly, but be…

Hey now, I never said there is anything wrong with trying to pickup women. I believe manipulation is a choice, not a byproduct of expressing your opinion. An example that comes to mind, I often see field reports talking about trying to shame other guys around you. You can say this is simply a tool, but I'm saying it's a tool that is being used. It's one thing to have more going for you than another person, but if you have to use deprecating humor to be more alpha...I can't help but think the alp…

What are the different tools? My problem is that often at some point it's no longer advocated as just a tool...it's a tool that is being used to manipulate, and be a competitive douche. I'm all for casual sex, but if you need to manipulate and lie to women, and strategize against your brothers, you are always going to be a beta fag in my eyes. I am genuinely interested in going back to basics, but I'll always question someone on how they reached their conclusions if I find that I disagree.

Alpha is relative to your community. Unfortunately most communities aren't very evolved when it comes to morality, making their own decisions, and thinking for themselves. You can be alpha, and desire meaningful relationships with other human beings. You can be alpha without manipulation. You can also be alpha and have sex with hundreds of women. You don't have to be a douche, that makes you a beta in an alphas clothes, at best an alpha in your own unevolved community (ie, you can be a good litt…

Well, yeah. It was written 77 years ago. Are you suggesting that the desire to inspire people is a form of manipulation, and ego? While you might be right, I don't think it has to be like that. It wasn't men sitting around a fresh kill staring at each other and screaming that allowed our civilization to get where it is. There is still a choice once you become aware of it. You're right that using primal triggers to raise attraction in others has nothing to do with seeing them as people. But other living organisms may not be capable of self-reflection, rational thought, creating art, feeling emotions and empathy for one another. We are something slightly more than a simple living organism. A person who does not feel empathy is a sociopath. People are people. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Then again a lot of people, for example the kind of people that view others as objects, are not much better than a simple organism.
