On Misandry and Child Custody

In the modern society of today, women have it good. Feminists are praised, elated and exalted for speaking up against the “patriarchy” and hating on men. However, as soon as a man makes a joke involving a woman, he is deemed misogynistic and shunned by all. Why is this? The answer is simple: misandry.

Now that women overrun the public sector, the rights of men are constantly being overlooked. Studies have shown that men are 3 times more likely to be killed than women, but still, nothing has been done to resolve this issue. Men also make up 70% of suicides in Canada, clearly showing that they are under more pressure as a group and ought to be treated with more consideration by the dominant matriarchy. Men have even been losing jobs, now retaining only 73% of the jobs they held in 1948.

Aside from all the above, the most obvious and pressing issue is that of men and child custody. Women receive custody a staggering 80% of the time, as opposed to the men who are only allowed to be fathers 20% of the time. Growing up without a father can be just as damaging, if not more so, than growing up without a mother. This unequal balance is an outrage and yet another sign of our deteriorating legal system’s bias towards women.

To help assuage this problem, I propose the following: let all men who wish for custody receive it. The 30% of men who want to provide loving homes for their children but have their hopes torn away by the mothers and the matriarchal legal system make up less than 10% of all cases, but their addition will allow the balance to swing to 70/30, which is a definite improvement. Joint custody should also be granted whenever fathers doubtful of their ability to support children completely on their own still wish to see them on a regular basis. Hopefully, this will allow for a more equal society and fewer children hurt by the lack of a father. Even feminists should be accepting of this solution, as women would still have custody a staggering 71% of the time.

With this system in place, men will gradually realize that they can, indeed, continue on being fathers and therefore file for custody more often. Perhaps enough will step forward that the 50/50 balance is restored and society becomes equal once more. That is what men’s rights are about, after all: not being treated better than women, but as their equals. Unlike the radical feminists who declare war on mankind and insist that they are strong and better than men, men’s rights activists simply wish for equality between the sexes.

This is only the start in our journey towards resolving all the problems listed earlier and numerous others. This generation is one of women, and we seek to make the next generation one of both genders in harmony with each other. Once our plight is realized, we will finally be able to begin reforming society into a fairer and more equal place for all.
