I hear sexist comments of varying degrees in my office on a regular basis (I am the only male in my department, among 5 women). This comment that I heard today perfectly sums up the disregard my co-workers have.

Of course, if I worked in an office full of men and made this comment in front of the lone woman, I could lose my job (that is no exaggeration). It's gotten to the point where I'm tired of pointing out that hypocrisy.

If I said anything to my boss about how the comment made me feel uncomfortable, I would be a pariah for the rest of however long I stay in this job. I really just have to pretend like nothing happened.
